In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 1, the maximum allowed occupancy is 4, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 2.

This first-floor, one-bedroom Kiawah Island vacation rental has a screened porch and is a 60-second walk to the beach.

Upon entering the tiled foyer, you can go left into the bedroom or straight to the main living space. The living room offers a sleeper sofa, side chair, flat-screen TV, and screened porch access. The recently updated kitchen allows for easy meal preparation. The dining area features a table with seating for four. The main living space is highlighted by the sliding glass door access to the screened porch.

The bedroom features a king bed, chair, flat-screen TV, and private entry to the hall bathroom. The bathroom is conveniently accessible from the bedroom or hallway and offers a shower/tub combination.

The screened porch provides two chairs, a ceiling fan, and endless opportunities for relaxing and viewing the surrounding natural beauty and nearby lagoon. A bike path is conveniently located behind the villa, and the beach boardwalk is about a minute’s walk from the villa’s front door.

The villa is furnished with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $150. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

vacation to be near family

My husband and I have family on Kiawah and wanted to visit with them. We really enjoyed your place. It was clean , and most of all very close to the beach for our daily walks. Kiawah is such a nice place to vacation as it is quiet and relaxing and we enjoyed spending time with family.

Unit needs updating

The couch in the unit is shot. The unit needs a deep cleaning. Some fresh paint would greatly help. Needs some more counter space. No room on the counter for anything. Good location.

Great location!

We were pleased with the location of the property, in particular. This was our first “real” family vacation with our daughter and being so close to the beach and the family activities at Night Herron park made this property the perfect choice for us. When I say”mclose to the beach” I mean the distance of a medium-sized Walmart parking lot. The property isn’t completely perfect. The screened-porch overlooks a bike path and the bathroom would benefit from updating. We had an issue with the cleanliness of the condo but that was immediately resolved by the property manager. We would stay here again. The minor issues with the condo are trivial compared to its perfect location and the property manager is very helpful.

The bathroom and back patio need DEEP CLEAN. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable. But everything else was in good shape. Suggest bigger garbage can in kitchen and more TP in bathroom. We will come again and recommend. Response from Akers-Ellis was wonderful! They addressed our concerns perfectly.

Not a great choice

After the long drive, we didn’t examine the property carefully. By the next morning, many problems were apparent. A rat had left droppings all over the common area and had eaten part of a loaf of bread on the counter. The only plug in the kitchen came out of the wall when we were ready to make coffee. The toilet would continue to run if you didn’t get the flap to catch just right and the faucet would drip constantly as well. There is a large hole in the floor between the refrigerator and the cabinet that will thwart any attempts to rid the place of rodents. I would not recommend staying here no matter how great the price.

Great location, but very minimalist

The condo is in a great location: right on bike path and very close to the beach. We were fine with just the two of us and a baby, but would not recommend for more than two people due to lack of seating in the living space and porch. We have stayed at other condos with a little more seating, and also kitchens with more working space. It would definitely be challenging to cook due to limited counter space, and also lack of tools and utensils. We were fine for a long weekend, though! Thanks for the stay.

Room for improvement

We enjoyed our stay very much. The beach was close and beautiful. The area was very clean and orderly. The only complaint we had was the old cook stove and lack of counter space due to enormous microwave.. We suggest combing the 2 into an over and under range/microwave model ....and clean out behind the screen on the screen door.

Broken Air Conditioner

When we first arrived the air conditioning was broken, it was so hot and miserable. The Manager did come to fix it, and he was so nice. They did end up moving us the next day to another Villa Located at Turtle Beach, It was Lovely and we had a great stay there. We would stay there again. The wildlife we seen was wonderful, the kitchen and sun room was amazing.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been coming to Kiawah for 40 years, staying in a variety of places, including some very nice ones rented by Akers Ellis. We are not fussy people, but this was by far the worst place we've stayed. The living room and deck furniture is old and uncomfortable. The way the kitchen is equipped is almost laughably meager. The toaster is so old it seems to fit only a slice of original Wonder Bread. Had to turn my piece of rye bread and do it twice to toast both halves. The bathroom fixtures look to be the originals. Just to be fair, the bed is comfortable. We ended up just joking among ourselves about how far below what we've come to know as the Kiawah standard this place is. It's a shame, because the location is almost perfect, just steps to the beach, and the Mariner's Watch area is still lush and lovingly maintained. Summary judgment: Step up your game. This is Kiawah.

This Property Could use some fixing

I could tell there had been an infestation of bed bugs at one time and all they did was cover it up. At least buy new mattresses and linens for your property. Also the washer and dryer hardly even worked. Updates at this unit are certainly needed.
