Budget friendly and pet friendly unit with an outdoor swimming pool!

Summer Place is the perfect vacation spot for dog lovers so come take a vacation that the WHOLE family can enjoy!

A raised building, Summer Place offers guests fantastic views, direct beach access, a large oceanfront swimming pool, and a grilling area.
Summer Place B6 has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and offers guests plenty of seating in the oceanfront living room. The master bedroom boasts a queen size bed while the guest bedroom features 2 twins.

All linens and bath towels are included, except for linens for the sleeper sofa (Queen Size) For your convenience, this home includes WiFi, a washer and dryer, and free parking.

Other things to note
Pet friendly for 1 dog under 75lbs or 2 smaller dogs under 30lbs; with a non-refundable paid pet fee of $100 for each dog. Dogs must be on flea protection plan
Beach and Pool towels are not provided, so be sure to bring some along.
No smoking. This complex is completely no-smoking including the balconies and parking area.
We rent to families and adults over the age of 25 only.
This property does not have an elevator and this unit is on the 2nd floor of a raised building.
Summer Place B6 allows parking for 2 cars.
No golf cart parking
Linen price is factored into final price of stay.
This unit, while clean, features carpet and an older style of furniture

Southern Coast Vacations has a complete reservations staff that is well versed in all aspects of each of our rentals homes, and the surrounding areas. They work with you during the booking process, before your arrival for additional questions and information, and our staff is available to you 24/7. If at any time you are in need, we are able to assist!

Although homes are often equipped with some non-perishable food items, such as sugar, coffee, and spices, we cannot guarantee they will be there. Guests are supplied with a starter set of paper products. Each rental will have 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom and 1 paper towel roll in the kitchen. Please come prepared with your own soaps or other needed toiletries such as dish detergent or laundry detergent. Please bring any blankets or towels you plan on using outside (pool or beach).

Guests should bring their own toiletries, we supply a starter set of toiletries. Per the linen package that is already included, we will provide 1 set of towels per guest and sheets for each bed. Most properties have a washer/dryer or a coin operated facility. Please bring any blankets or towels you plan on using outside (pool or beach).

Great place to enjoy the 4th!

The unit was even better than described. Great ocean front view and very easy to access the beach. We also enjoyed the pool. It was a great place to enjoy July 4th. We were able to enjoy the fireworks from the balcony because they are set off from the Cherry Grove Pier just down the beach from the unit. Very conveniently located as everything is just a short drive away. It’s a great place to escape the craziness of Myrtle but still close enough to drive to enjoy the shopping, food, and shows. Great place if you are planning on traveling with your pet.

Beachfront

We enjoyed our stay. The beachfront location of the property is perfect. Small improvements like a keyless entry, and soap (in the bathrooms plus kitchen) would make this place ideal.

Great Little Spot

Property was exactly what we were looking for and being pet friendly made it perfect for us. Carpet was stained from past furry guests and needed to be shampoo though

End of summer 2021 trip

Alarm House

Fire alarm went off 10 times in a 3 month period. Fire Department had to come each time. Parking was a challenge at times. vendors would take up parking spots instead of parking in the overflow area. Condo needs new carpet. No silverware so I went to Walmart and bought cheap set which I left.Pots and pans disgusting. I was told I would have to climb a few steps. 39 steps to B6. But the view was amazing!

We are glad you liked the view! Unfortunately, none of your concerns or issues were communicated to us during your 3 month stay. We would have gladly reached out about them or corrected them. The local fire marshals did testing of many complexes and building this season to insure they were up to fire safety code. Apologies that frequent testing was needed at this building.

Listing is not accurate

The property we stayed at was not this unit listed. The door and view of the balcony were much different. The balcony we got had an AC unit that took up almost half of the balcony and was so loud you couldn’t hear the ocean over it. It was very disappointing as we rented a beachfront property so we could sit outside but that is not really an option at this unit. The pictures show a different balcony than the one at the unit. When we checked in the carpets stunk of pet Oder mixed with strong cleaning chemicals. The smell did not go away for our entire stay. The carpets were also very stained and the unit was not very clean upon arrival.

This review is "not accurate". The property you stayed in is the exact property that is listed. This property is an older, pet friendly unit, that is advertised as such. It's also important to note that while the unit itself is old, it is not dirty. It is professionally cleaned after every stay and it is deep cleaned multiple times a year, including carpet cleanings. Cute little place that needs a lot of work...

We are regulars in the North Myrtle area and like to try new places. This was our first stay at this location and it was very disappointing. First the positives: The location is great and the building is in good shape. Unfortunately, the list of negatives is far longer. Their was a laundry list of broken and damaged items including a front storm door that doesn't close and a water leak in the bathroom. The condo was extremely dirty and the carpet was so stained it almost looked like a design. The smell was difficult to overcome as well. There was a strong ammonia odor that we assume came from cats? dirty pots and pans, broken bathroom fan, etc... It is a real shame that the place was in such rough shape since it is a cute layout in a great location. Hopefully this review helps someone.

We'll be sure to let the owner know about your experience and will be taking some initiative to look at the cooking ware that you've said is broken.

Spring Break 2023

Reviewer Comments: We rented this unit the first two weeks of April 2023.We were pleasantly surprised when we first arrived because there have been some updates compared to photos.Why they have not updated pics is beyond has been painted a more pleasing color & living area furniture has been updated.The kitchen has been replaced with laminate. Don’t understand what the relationship is between the property manager and the owner.We had inquired as to the status of the TVs shown. Manager claimed they were the same but there is a flat screen in each bedroom & main living area. We were expecting the air handler on the balcony but it is really sad it takes up SO much valuable area on the small balcony (and also the master bedroom’s closet).There were a few cleanliness issues:carpet is DISGUSTING in the main area & NEEDS to be is dirty,musty & VERY stained.We found some trash under one of the twin beds that hadn’t been picked up.We also had to take time to clean out two drawers next to the stove that had silverware and the few cooking utensils.They were both full of crumbs that had to have been there for quite a while for the volume cleaned out.We were very anxious to see the bathrooms because there were no photos available.They are not bad – small and dated but manageable.I did see another commentor mention about the broken shelf in the master’s medicine cabinet (that was very annoying).This same bathroom’s fan was LOUD & on the morning of our departure there was a loud “pop” and it stopped working.We did drop off the keys with a few comments about maintenance needed (bathroom fan,faulty stove dial,guest toilet does not flush well,light over kitchen sink not working properly).The kitchen is definitely bare bones. Very grateful to prior renter for buying silverware & leaving it.We love the Cherry Grove area & this unit did provide a nice family time. A Summer Place, SC

Booking online was quick and easy. Checking in, we used the lockbox at the North Myrtle Beach office location and once we got our GPS to accept the address, the rest of the process was simple. Our condo was just as advertised online with the exception of the lack of cooking utensils (i.e. pots and pans, a covered frying pan, large cooking spoons, tongs) the need for a new can opener, and finally, there weren't any welcome toiletries (no toilet paper and no roll of paper towels). The location was outstanding!

Wonderful condo

This condo was great for a family of four and dog. The pictures don't do it justice. Furniture, TV and kitchen flooring has been updated. The condo was very clean for a condo that allows dogs. The condo building and pool were well kept. We cooked every night in the kitchen. The linens and towels were left in plastic wrap on the beds. For the price this was a wonderful condo.

We had fun.

There were a few things needing repair, but none of them impacted our stay. We looked for a place that allowed dogs. Location and condo were fine. Had crack in stove top, latch loose on front door, spots on carpet (expected with pet property), shelf down in medicine cabinet, Big blinds on patio door need replacing. Otherwise fine. None of these were a problem.
