NEWLY REMODELED!!! ALL NEW beds/mattresses, bedding, towels, kitchen dishes, fire pits, tvs, robes, fans in each bedroom, all new quartz countertops, and new stainless steel appliances!!! Two sets of bags games as well as one set of washers games also provided!

Family ski vacation

The house was a perfect size for two families with kids. We enjoyed the levels and the property had everything we needed and more. The kids loved the mini arcade in the basement. It snowed the few days prior to our visit so the road up to the house was extremely slick but we were prepared by the listing that we would need a good snow vehicle. We were there to ski and the location was absolutely perfect-just a quick drive to Terry peak. The hot tub was heaven after skiing. Thanks for a great vacation!

The Gilded Mountain location is driving distance to so many wonderful sites and activities in the Black Hills. Golf Courses - Lead Country Club, Tomahawk Golf Club, Elkhorn Ridge Golf Course and Boulder Canyon Golf Course are all within 25 minutes of the cabin. Looking for some lake time? Pactola Lake, Sheridan Lake, Roubaix Lake, Deerfield Lake and Orman Dam are all within an hour drive of Captain Jak's! Great for fishing, beach time, renting a boat or pontoon or just relaxing by a mountain lake! The Mickelson Trail is 5 minutes from the cabin - this Gorgeous rail trail extends for 108.8 miles from Edgemont to Deadwood! Perfect for hiking and biking or snowshoeing and snowmobiling in the winter.
