Great place to stay

The condo is exactly as it appears in the photos. It was perfect for us. We had to purchase a hdmi cord in order to watch tv from our laptop. And there is construction next door m - f 8 :15 am to 4:30 pm. But we didn’t care! We enjoyed watching the process. We started and ended each day on the balcony feeling the breeze from the ocean.

Beautiful condo right on the beach

This condo is modern and spacious. Penthouse floor with free covered parking. Comfortable queen bed. Dishwasher, microwave, large screen TV. There is construction going on next door. It's a little noisy when the work is going on but the nights are quiet. Claire is a very responsive landlord and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice Apt With Some Glitches

The apartment is as described, with a nice view of the ocean and convenient location with direct access to the beach. Owner was very nice and responsive and helped accommodate a change in our dates. Apartment was clean and was great for our stay. There were a few things that the owner did not notify us of in advance that were frustrating: the elevators were not working properly which was very frustrating for about a week of our stay. The washing machine in the unit was out of order and the apartment directly overlooks an active construction site that started working at 8am every day. Otherwise no complaints.

Place was very nice but two weeks before our arrival we were told the pool was closed due to balcony repairs . This was a problem for me . We were told we could use the community pool ... or cancel reservation ... TWO weeks before we are to arrive !! I looked and could not find any place that had my dates so I had no choice ...

I love this condo. Directly on the beach with incredible views. Walking distance to loads of restaurants and cafes, and even a Publix. The condo is perfect with everything you could possibly want for a great vacation, even beach chairs and umbrellas. The place is spotless and the housekeeper Gloria is always just a call away if you have a question or need something. Altogether the best place to stay in Miami Beach / Bal Harbour.

Brilliant Bal Harbor stay - again!

My stay this time was a chance to see how the condo works when we are more than my usual solo visit. My brother and sister-in-law cancelled their planned trip to Barcelona because of the unrest there and so I invited them to join me. I slept on the sofa-bed and gave them the bedroom. It was easy to set up and fold away each morning and I slept like a log! The condo works perfectly for several people and of course everything is available to make the stay stress free from kitchen plates and cutlery to beach seats and toys. Overall incredible value for money.

Clean, convenent stress free location with parking.

Claire’s condo was very nice and we had a great time. The condo is well located near shops and restaurants and is a short Lyft or Uber away from Lincoln Road and South Beach restaurants. Claire is a great owner who is very flexible and responsive and works to make your stay successful. The setup is stress free, off street parking works really well and this is a good value for money. We recommend Claire’s place without concern and plan to go back again.

Even the weather didn't dampen my spirits!

I have lost count of how many times I've stayed in Claire's condo in Surfside. I love it - obviously! Spotlessly clean, a housekeeper who is a just a call away and everything you could want for a perfect stay, whether you eat takeouts or like to cook. The wonderful sea view from the balcony means you can check the weather and the waves before stepping out. Can't wait to be back in my "home from home."

Comfort, Convenience & the Ocean, Too!

This lovely apartment has a beautiful view of the ocean and direct access to the beach as well as a pleasant walking path near the ocean. The unit is spacious and very comfortable with two big screen TV's, dependable Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen. The balcony is furnished with a comfortable love seat and table: perfect for morning coffee or watching the sunset! There is even a washing machine in the kitchen and a dryer is just across the hall, and there is also a convenient drying rack located on the balcony. Beach chairs and umbrellas were provided for our use on the beach and came in very handy. This is the second time we stayed at this apartment--we liked it so much. We experienced perfect weather for the entire stay with only one day of rain. Surfside is a lovely and safe community - there are several nice restaurants within walking distance as well as a Publix grocery store, a large CVS pharmacy and convenient free bus service that goes to the Adventura Mall and other locations. We did not have a car during our stay, nor did we need one. Everything was so convenient but when we wanted to explore more distant locations, we simply used a car service. Claire is a perfect hostess and checked with us to be sure we were very comfortable - she was genuinely concerned with our satisfaction and communicated with us as though she was down the hall. The staff at The Carlisle was friendly and always willing to help us with any request. The only negative comment I must include is that there is on-going construction two buildings away and at times, the construction noises were distracting, but other than that, it was a wonderful get-away.

Amazing vacation

My husband, I and our little dog spent unforgettable 2 weeks during Christmas and New Year's Eve at this apartment. The apparent is very nice and with a lot of natural light. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning, we were able to watch sunrise above the ocean every day, as well as Miami downtown views. The apartment is walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We are definitely coming back! Thank you for a great vacation!

Wonderful Stay

The apartment is very nice, comfortable, well furnished and has a nice view of the ocean from the balcony. The location was perfect to us because we love the beach. It´s in a very nice neighborhood, near Bal Harbor Mall, Publix supermarket, CVS Pharmacy and many places to eat. We had really a wonderful time. We loved Claire´s apartment and we highly recommend it. We use to go to Miami 3 or 4 times per year and we hope that we´ll have the chance to stay there again. Thank you Claire.
