A wonderful cabin in a beautiful area. This was a great getaway for our family of four when we had to make a last minute change to our travel plans. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep the kids occupied and we all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub out back at the end of the day.
We had a great stay! Everything was up to date( as pictured) and clean! We did have some difficulty finding the actual location as the house number is only on one side of the sign, and the house is not visible from the road. Over all we would reccomend it and stay again!
Very clean rooms. If you want the nature scene, this cabin has it. Love the hot tub (even in the cold). Two warnings:1. I highly suggest having an off road capable vehicle. There’s some tricky roads leading in to this place.2. You are literally in a forest. Meaning, there will be animals around. At night, at the fire pit, we encountered a predator/prey situation. ( two large raccoons were running/hiding from some coyotes). Be careful of deer crossings too. Overall, for my family, it was a great memory that we will talk about for years to come

Nature Cottage
Our family enjoyed this cabin very much. The living room has a wall of ceiling to floor windows giving you an amazing view of all the trees. The hot tub was wonderful and the TV outside on the wall to watch while in the hot tub was a great bonus! Our kids loved their bunkbed room as well as all the game systems in the loft area! The firepit, hammock and play set was also fun for everyone! Our family really enjoyed our time there.

The host was very responsive. We messaged Craig for the code and received it fairly quickly and gave us information when we needed it. The cabin was beautiful but had many maintenance issues. Also don’t stay here if you don’t have a vehicle safe for off-roading. Plus be careful there’s no service so make sure you figure out where you are going.(1) I told the host the filter on the refrigerator water dispenser was on. No one came out to fix that so we went to bed extremely thirsty with no water. This was not good as my wife is breastfeeding and we have young children. We had to go out and buy water the next day. We were also scared to drink the tap water because it had an extremely terrible egg smell (from well water) that made the whole house stink. Mold was also scraped from the tip of the water dispenser. (2) The dishwasher appeared to be full of brown mold at the bottom causing all of the dishes to smell after washes. (3) There were blood stains on the sham in the master bedroom. (4) The hot tub was dirty and smelled like mildew. We did not use it. (5) The grill igniter button was broken so we had to light it with a paper towel. Yikes dangerous but you have to cook somehow right? (6) The firewood was soaking wet and worthless from the rain. So we had to go back out to buy our own wood. Overall, beautiful views. Loved the fire pit and playset. Could have been 5 stars!

Thank you for your detailed feedback. I’m glad our team was responsive and that you enjoyed the views, fire pit, and playset — and I’m very sorry your stay was disrupted by the issues you listed. We take these concerns seriously, especially with young children and a breastfeeding parent in the group.
Here’s what we did after reading your report:
- Refrigerator/well water: Replaced and sanitized the fridge dispenser and filter, cleaned the dispenser tip, and scheduled a well inspection and treatment. We also added a larger starter supply of bottled water while the well is being addressed.
- Dishwasher: Deep-cleaned and sanitized the dishwasher and ran maintenance checks to eliminate any mold or odors.
- Bedding: Housekeeping re-inspected laundry procedures and replaced the stained sham; we reinforced our linen inspection checklist.
- Hot tub: Drained, thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, and placed on an increased maintenance schedule.
- Grill: Repaired/replaced the igniter and added a safe backup lighting option and safety instructions.
- Firewood: Replaced the wet wood and changed storage/stacking procedures so wood stays dry between guests.
We should have remedied these while you were on site and regret that didn’t happen. In future, please let us know during the stay so we can address problems right away. Thank you for staying with us and for the honest feedback — it’s helping us improve. We hope to host you again and earn that 5-star stay.

Awesome Weekend!
My family and I planned a last minute getaway to Broken Bow and came across this cabin. The management group were really responsive prior to arrival and the booking was easy!
It is EXACTLY like the pictures and is in a truly beautiful, wooded area that makes you feel secluded. The cabin was clean, well stocked and the beds were comfy! My 2.5 yr old granddaughter loved the playset onsite and I really appreciated the child gate on the stairs for added safety.
Overall would definitely recommend as it was perfect for our group of 7.
