We had a wonderful stay! This home is gorgeous and was comfortable for three generations of our family and our pups. It is well-stocked and well-appointed - the owners thought of everything! We loved how close the location is to town while feeling secluded. The outdoor areas were perfect during the early part of our stay, when we had warm spring-like weather. When winter weather returned toward the end of the week, the house provided a warm, cozy place to relax and watch the snow fly. The owners were communicative and helpful. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. We had a fantastic trip, with this home as the backdrop to many wonderful memories.
This place was truly amazing. 5 stars in every respect. Beautiful exterior, set away from all the neighbors so it feels truly private. Garage is great, and there’s a super functional mudroom. Gorgeous interior, with stunning architecture and impeccable interior design. Host went out of her way to make our stay super comfortable and spoil us. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor, all beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds. Our kids loved the bunk room upstairs, plus the game room downstairs. This house has literally everything you need and then some - fully stocked is an understatement. This does not at all feel like a bare bones rental, but a place the owners truly care about and love while wanting to go above and beyond to have their guests have the same experience they have. Was about 8-10 minutes from Fairplay, super easy to pop into town for food. 45-50 mins to Breck to ski, with a gorgeous drive over the pass. Had so much fun watching the snow wind and alpenglow over the mountains, listening to our kids laugh in the hot tub, cooking in the beautiful kitchen, and letting our puppy lounge in the abundant sunshine in the house from all the large windows. Very dog friendly with a built in gate on the stairs and some puppy supplies. This isn’t a place for lots of activity and busy crowds - it’s out there and quiet and so peaceful, but in a good way. We are already talking about when we can come back in the summer to relax and do some hiking. Highly recommend!
