Cozy home

The house was as described, cute decor, very clean. The AC unit in one of the bedrooms had some issues but it was manageable. Would recommend this house.

Good value in a great location

This little house was a terrific value and served our purposes well. It's an older place with some rough edges/limited niceties, but the beds were comfortable and the location was just what we wanted.That location wouldn't be for everyone: We wanted to be steps from the cafes and bars of Midtown, knowing that a certain level of grittiness (like a dodgy motel on the corner) would come with that. Pangolin (cafe) and The Emerson (bar) were favorites, and being a ten-minute drive from the UNR campus was perfect.Two small things to note: Low ceilings upstairs might be tight for tall folks; they weren't a problem for us. And I'm not sure what the listing is referring to with regard to futons in the bedrooms; maybe those are by request.Overall, a really good choice for the right renters. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back next time we're in Reno!

Regarding the "Futons", it is actually because we have 2 inflatable twin mattresses that can be set up anywhere in the home, that are located in the closet under the stairs. But because VRBO doesn't have an option for hosts to select Inflatable Air Mattress, then we am forced to select Futon because it is the closest option available on the VRBO platform.

Midtown is perfectly located and the best neighborhood in Reno. It is centrally located, with plenty of dining, activities, shopping, etc. It still maintains a small and close-knit community vibe. The neighborhood is safe. You are 10 minutes from the airport, downtown, the casinos, and a quick 35 minute drive to Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts like Palisades and Mount Rose.

What makes this property unique

This property is perfect for families or larger groups. It is great for exploring everything that Reno has to offer, and being in Midtown, it is conveniently located to almost everything. The original structure was built in 1920, having high ceilings and detailed accents, with a recently remodeled interior.
