- Rehearsal dinners, oyster roasts, shrimp boils, and wedding breakfasts, and all events require prior discussion and written approval. You must get a pre-approval from us at the time of booking. You must discuss details with us before placing your reservation.

This is Scanlonville - Remley's Point, on a quiet dead end street... an old Historic neighborhood - demographically and ethnically diverse and deeply rooted in the Gullah-Geechie culture.... settled after the Civil War. If you are uncomfortable with diversity, then don't book here. Neighborhood was a prime stop on the famous Chitlin Circuit. Local homes can be moderate houses, ramshackle shacks, or mega-million-dollar mansions. You will find it all in this highly desirable, well located, diverse neighborhood.

Parking: 4 to 6 vehicles can park stacked in the driveway. Cars that cannot fit in the driveway will need to park around the corner in parking lot on 4th Street.

Convenient location with awesome backyard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during the Low Country Oyster Festival. The house had plenty of room for our nine adult guests and was equipped with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed catching up with friends on the large backyard pool deck. The location, just over the bridge, made for an easy Uber ride into Charleston. We would definitely stay again.

The in ground pool and enticing outdoor shower plus fire pit, is a wonderful addition for visitors during warmer months. The pool is NOT heated, but gets full sun morning till night.
