The Porch is The Station's newest and brightest hosting residence. It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath stay that has a large front porch to top it off where you can sit and ponder all that is Austin.
The space
The Station is a family owned operation by local Austinites. Thomas your main host grew up in East Austin and has worked in real estate investment in the area for the last 20 years.

Anthony and Janniliz are a lawyer and a teacher who desire to help guests be more connected and feel at home in East Austin’s new thriving scene.

The space has a comfy queen sized bed and plenty of space to rest. There is a large bathroom with a tub and shower and plenty of room to get ready. The kitchen is equipped with a stove top, oven, microwave, kitchen utensils/needs and fridge.

Whether you are here for a week long business trip or a weekend trip we know that this space can accommodate your needs.

This property is in a great location. It was easy to maneuver around the city from there. The property was quiet and well equipped. We would stay here again.

There was a hiccup when checking in and Thomas rectified everything. Comfortable bed. Once the mini split kicks in that room i slept like a baby, the train didn’t bother me but i also sleep with a fan for white noise. Clean property. Being pet friendly is a big plus. I would absolutely stay again, the porch is decorated with nice flowers.

Good time!

This was the perfect one bedroom accommodation for me. Close to my daughter and was able to spend a great Christmas with her. Was very impressed with how clean it was and I am fussy!!!

I didn’t have any issues with the stay. It was a good location. Free off-street parking was convenient.It wasn’t a problem for me but some might have issue with the noise from the nearby train.The checkin and out procedures were really smooth

Stayed at this property between dates 8/7/2026-8/9/2026. First impression was that this place had been something else beforehand, maybe a cafe or whatnot. Floor was very uneven, and visible cracks in the wall to show for bad foundation. The parking is right in front of the property, which is convenient till you want to leave and realize you have to back out directly onto 7th street( a very busy street in east Austin). My stay was fine till the last night. I took my dogs for a 10 minute walk and when I returned found an intruder in the home. This person would not leave the property, saying it was a “safe house” and that he knew the owners. Called the police to have him removed. The police asked if there was anyone else inside but the intruder was invasive with his response, prompting the police, with guns drawn, to enter property to clear it for me to re-enter. After clearing the property, needless to say I was not staying there another night. I waited 48 hours to add this review hoping to hear from the owners, who I have attempted to contact through multiple forms of communication ( phone call, text, and VRBO format). I have NOT received any reply. I do not wish to harm anyone’s ability to monetize their property, but I could not with good conscience not report this. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Property is just as described, very convenient in terms of location and clean. Had a hard time finding location initially and figuring out where to park. Reached out to host with no response. TV was not working well in living room (speaker broken).

Asked a question prior to arriving but got no answer, and upon arrival didn't have the details to check in. Luckily checked in 10 mins later once the details camr in through the app. Long black hairs in all sinks, toilet and shower. Kicked my foot a couple of times on the uneven and poorly fitted flooring in the kitchen. Part of the flooring elsewhere held down with sticky tape. Can't watch the tv in the lounge room as one of the speakers are not working and distorts. Blinds in the bathroom damaged allowing people to see straight through to the shower if dark outside. Really good location as long as you have earplugs for sleep and get out exploring.
