FAMILY REUNIONS: Handicap/Wheelchair accessible main floor, game rooms and a 12-seat farm table make this the perfect spot for a large family reunion keeping both the young and the old engaged and entertained.

SNOWMOBILERS: Snow-conditions permitting - Property has direct, private access onto the VAST trail. Leave your trucks and trailers effortlessly in the large circle driveway, unload your sleds and after breakfast walk out the front door to take your private trail 5 minutes to get directly onto the VAST. In addition, 166 acres of private trails on the property which loop and connect as well as open field. There is enough space to park multiple trucks and trailers without any difficulty and unlimited room for your sleds.

ALPINE SKIERS: 20-25 minutes to Jay Peak depending on road conditions. Close enough to base-camp. Great place to unwind after a long powder day in front of a log fire(yes, a real one), in the hot tub or having a drink while shooting pool.

X-C SKIERS / SNOWSHOERS: Snow conditions permitting - XC trails on the 166 acres are at your disposal providing many kilometers thru quiet, snow-covered cedars or under majestic sleeping maples groves.

WEDDING PARTIES: Grand views, a gorgeous backyard coupled with elegant but warm décor make this location more than ideal for bridal party accommodations. Whether its a good night's rest or a lasting night with loved ones, let this house be your home away from home on your big day.

We had a great stay. The host was superb and attentive. Checking in and out (especially) was super easy. The house is beautiful, well setup, and has activities for every age. The grounds are huge. We had a great time cross country skiing and snowshoeing on the property. Highly recommended.

This was the best VRBO any of us had stayed in. Impeccable maintained and clean. Very well laid out, more amenities than we could use. The kitchen had everything, best appliances, knife set, and matching silverware. The supply of firewood for the fireplace was prepared and very dry wood. Host was clear, fast, and helpful. Best house and area orientation book for our arrival. The garage door opener was very thoughtful. I highly recommend, I expect a summer stay would be wonderful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this vacation home! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The amenities were amazing — truly everything you could possibly need, they have thought of. It felt like a home away from home, but even better.The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very well kept. You can tell the owners take great pride in making sure guests are comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the equipment and utensils you could ever need, making it so easy to cook and enjoy meals together.Communication was beyond exceptional. Every question was answered promptly and clearly, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free.There is truly something for everyone — whether you’re traveling with adults, kids, or both. We traveled with our large family and had plenty of room for everyone! The house was beautiful and had the coolest basement I've ever seen! We were snowed in for half our trip, but still had the best time hanging at the house!

Friends getaway

We look for places to golf and then find place to stay. This was the perfect place for our four couples and two infants. The view of the lake was great with the mountains behind it. The landscape and pond were perfect for the warm summer days. Plenty of activities for us and the children here. Needless to say this house exceeded our expectations and we all left wishing we stayed a few days longer!

We enjoyed our stay. The 6 bedrooms w/ bathrooms were a big plus for our grp of 12. Game room was awesome! Great view of lake; perfect for bucket golf which we played almost every day. Although the house had plenty of great features, there were some items that made our vacation less than perfect. 1. House does not have air conditioning! With the sun beating in and temps up to the 90’s, the house was terribly hot; downstairs bedroom reached mid 80’s every day & upstairs bedrooms approached 90 degrees! Ceiling & floor fans did not provide much relief. A/Cs would have solved this issue. 2. Refrigerator did not provide adequate space for 12 people. We had to use 4 coolers and purchase ice every day. There was a refrigerator in the basement, but was not usable. 3.There were hornet’s nests in several locations – behind several shutters in the deck area and near the stone wall. We couldn’t use the deck until I sprayed the nests. The presence of bees/hornets is not avoidable, treatment of the nesting areas is. 4. Two bedrooms had mattresses that were very uncomfortable – time to replace them. 5. The horse flies were unbearable. Any time spent in the yard meant you had to deal with being bit. Periodic fogging of the area would ensure renters do not have to deal with horse flies and mosquitos. This property/house would be perfect if these issues were addressed! All fixable(We would not call the pond swimmable; more like a bog, full of algae & frogs & gets deep quick)
