Spacious Home
The grandchildren really enjoyed the spacious home, the lake for ice fishing, and skating, and the hill for sledding. We caught lots of fish. They thought it was nice of the owner to decorate for the Holidays before we arrived. We were told to be aware of our noise level as there were renters in the lower level. We tried our best. We were never told we were too loud so we must have succeeded. It's hard to keep the noise level down when you have 5 children with you! Our host was always in contact with us during our stay but not obnoxious. I suppose she could have thanked us after our stay for renting from them. I think that would have been a nice gesture. Overall, everyone enjoyed the stay. Pretty much everything you would have at your own house or wish to have was available for us. The house has a lot of knickknacks so that is a little hard for children not to touch. Especially, for children who do not have those things in their own home. We gawked at the mountain views and the eagles. The home was easy to find. The grown children live in Anchorage and were delighted to find trails to use in the summer that were near to the property where we stayed. Thank you for the availability of this property.
