Hibernation Station at Hound Ears: 2 King Suites, Updated Home!

This beautiful mountain home is nestled in the trees in the heart of the prestigious gated community of Hound Ears Club, just between Boone and Banner Elk.

Hibernation Station accommodates up to 8 guests with a spacious 3 bedroom/3 bath layout. This home features two King suites on the main floor. The "kids room" is located downstairs and has two twin beds with trundles, so it can easily accommodates adults as well.

The dining room boasts a large farmhouse table for 8. The fully renovated kitchen is perfect for any chef and even comes equipped with a dual coffee pot/Keurig machine to brew your morning cuppa. All TV's in the home (4 total!) are Smart TV's connected to 5G fiber optic high speed Wifi. Bring your Netflix , Disney+, and Hulu log ins and cozy up for a movie. The kids bedroom also has an X-box OneS so be sure to bring your favorite games or log into your XBox Live account! Outside there is a Tesla EV charger (bring your own attachments if you have a non-Tesla EV!)

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Motorcycles are strictly prohibited inside the Hound Ears community.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- Due to neighborhood restrictions, reservations may only be booked more than 3 days, or 72 hours, prior to arrival. Guests must complete an information form for the Hound Ears neighborhood upon booking, and the reservation will be approved based on the form.
- Rental guests cannot access any Hound Ears Club amenities or buildings, including golf, pool, tennis, or the restaurant; as per Club rules updated in late 2023.
- This home offers flat, paved parking for up to 2 large or 3 small vehicles.
- There are about 10 steps to enter the main level of the home.
- The owner of this home uses exterior security cameras to monitor the home and ensure it remains safe. There are no cameras inside.
- Firewood for the indoor woodburning fireplace may be purchased with at least one week (7 day) advance notice. Firewood is $25/nt for 2 bundles of wood + 1 Firestarter.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
