This Lake Emory-view home is a true gem of a vacation rental. Offering the perfect Appalachian escape for you and your loved ones, this waterfront home is conveniently situated close to both the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, as well as iconic Blue Ridge attractions and activities including the Blue Ridge Parkway, gem mining, waterfalls, and whitewater rafting. You'll also be just four miles outside the charming town of Franklin which offers tons of great shops, dining options, and local attractions like the Scottish Tartan Museum.

At-home comfort abounds inside and out, with features including two beautiful lake-view decks. Cathedral-style ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows illuminate the living area and also serve to showcase the views of Lake Emory. High-end stainless steel appliances, gorgeous counters, and custom cabinetry are sure to inspire gourmet creations in the full kitchen. A mini-fridge and a pool table are ready to host home happy hours. The smart TV in the main-floor living area sets the stage for family movie nights.

Perfect Place To Stay! Plenty of room

We were able to travel to so many locations all within a two~three hour round trip making this house the perfect locations to see many other locations and fun places to see and be back home to fix dinner and enjoy the outdoor deck here at the house! Local wildlife a plus.

Short Getaway

We loved the location and the feel of the house. The 3 floors separation is great for multiple people. We did a quick weekend get away, but it had everything we needed and was perfect! Close to anything we needed!

The house is adorable. Lots of bedroom space very well laid out for a large families to enjoy. It is a few minutes drive from town, but it is a beautiful home in a campground like setting. A nice, friendly, peaceful neighborhood. Would recommend for a get away

Spacious and beautiful

Great location and peaceful. Close to lots of the tourist attractions but not in the bustle of everything Nice place with ample supplies provided (shampoo, conditioner,soap, garbage bags, toilet paper,dishwasher pods and laundry detergent- of course we had these because most places dont provide so it was a nice surprise). It was especially nice having pans to cook in-again most places lack in this area. We had adequate space for our large family (11) get together. Only drawbacks were lack of seating in gathering areas (it was difficult for us all to be in same area comfortably) and all of mattresses were hard. Overall a great stay!

Outside trash was on the ground between the trashcans. The bedroom on the main floor with the queen bed has a big puddle of water coming in the window while it was raining. Floor needs cleaned, vacuumed, mopped. Ants all in the home. Doors barely close and one don't lock. No curtains for when sleeping, so privacy was a concern. Bedding needs washed badly! Please please wash the bedding!! Sheets had trash between when you turned the covers back. We had to go buy our own bedding !! Beds are not comfortable.

The property is very nice and accommodating but unfortunately it wasn’t very clean. One of the bathrooms has a huge rust stain on it and the stove had to be cleaned before we used it. The door to the hallway closet where the towels are are not attached and just rested on the wall. When you attempted to close the closet the doors would fall on you. On top of that some bulbs to the kitchen and living room were missing. I contacted Vacasa about it and the staining in the bathroom. Got a response but it was never dealt with. I got a call from someone after we left the property they were ln their way to drop off the bulbs. Not a terrible place to stay but has issues that need to be addressed. We arrived late at night in the rain and walking into a dark home without proper lighting due to missing bulbs was definitely not expected.

Do not stay here!

Needs maintenance and repairs - deck to the front door unsound, balcony upstairs not safe, banister on stairs to basement loose. Upper bunk bed on left is not supported if to be used safely . Curtains NEEDED living room, bunk room and pool room in basement. Dead and live roaches. Dishwasher detached from counter. Pool table cues are all broken except for one. Net on one pocket of billiards table is ripped and balls end up on floor. Dart board is plastic and darts are plastic and broken, so can't play darts. Board games are missing pieces,so can't be played. Remote missing in living room. Pictures on website are not accurate to state of appearance and age of furniture. Size of pots and skillets too small to cook for a large group. Need outdoor hose. Electronic lock on front door has 10 digit locking code - too long to remember and must be looked up each time. This type of lock usually only requires 4 digits. Expected our family to be impressed and thrilled for a nice place to stay, but was embarrassed at having made this rental by a new problem at every turn. Will not stay here again or book through Vacasa.
