We enjoyed your home. It was very close to the ice Age trails that we wanted to hike. After a long hike a shower feels good, your showers are the best, plenty of water pressure and hot water!!
Lovely property with a beautiful view. Swing set with baby swing was a really nice and appreciated touch. Lots of nice touches throughout the property.
Great location, easy trail access. The house was very nice, loved the fire pit and pool table as well as the private setting. Would definitely go back if in the area.
The place was absolutely wonderful the location is great the house was beautiful. We all had a great time, you have the perfect spot in the blue hills. We will be back again.
Lovely cabin with nice fire pit & deck. Quiet, roomy, big driveway for trailers, access to atv trails, Loved our stay here ! Host answered calls & was very helpful.
Property was as described. Beds were comfortable. We had 2 families and everyone was comfortable with plenty of space. We really enjoyed having the outside fire area and the heated garage to hangout. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We would stay here again if in the area.
Amy was a great host and answered all our questions above and beyond! Very beautiful place very quiet and peaceful with all the amenities you need for a great weekend. We rode side by side lots of very nice trails close by. Beautiful walking trails right on the property. Would highly recommend
This is our third time staying in this home. Even with new owner/management everything was perfect! Love the added bathroom in the basement! We love this area for UTV trails and most definitely will be back again!
We had a group of 8 adults that stayed. House is nicely set up and having 3 full bathrooms is absolutely fantastic! Super clean and owner is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
Quiet home in a gorgeous setting. We stayed while working multiple days on the nearby Ice Age Trail. Close to Weyerhaeuser for restaurants and groceries.
It was so nice staying at a clean house and they must’ve sprayed because the mosquitoes were nonexistent. So close to the ATV trails it made for a fun weekend. I will absolutely be staying there again.
The place was exactly what was advertised. Is in a very nice, private area. We road utv’s while we were. We had two truck and trailers and had plenty of room for another one easily. The house has bed rooms and bathrooms on each floor. If we decide to go back the area to ride again, will be booking this place…
This place was amazing! We traveled with our 2 dogs and 4 month old. The property is beautiful and perfect for hiking with family and pets. Our dogs loved running the yard and the ice age trail. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need. Towels in bathrooms were nice and it was nice having 3 bathrooms. Also they have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all bathrooms. The view from the living room is beautiful. The beds were comfortable and each room had a fan which is a necessity for us. We loved it and already booked for next year!
Great place! Having 3 full bathrooms and 3 separate sleeping areas for 6 adults was so nice. The host thought of everything you could possibly need - down to disposable cups in the bathroom (that was amazing!) having the attached garage to use was so nice, it made for a great “drop” spot for our coolers, shoes etc. and with tables and chairs out there it was a nice extra place to hang out. The house was very clean. All the little details are so nice. Very clean, beautiful location. Plenty of parking for trailers and side by sides. I can’t say enough great things about the place! Would definitely stay again!
My husband and I stayed three nights in late June in this house, and we totally enjoyed our time there!! We walked on the trail located right in the backyard of this property. We relaxed by a campfire one night. It is a beautiful setting there! We highly recommend others to stay here! It is a very nice house!
Very private. Our dog really liked the private yard to roam.
Amy was great at communicating and answering questions
promtly. Pictures on website completely accurate. We enjoyed our stay.
We had a great time at the Cabin. Very peaceful property. Very clean cabin. Rode ATVs and walked the Ice Age Trail. Kitchen was fully stocked. Will definitely book again. Enjoyed all the wildlife. I would highly recommend.
Property was used as a base camp. It is located amongst 60k of public rec land. Worked great for our senior age group. Hikers, all terrain vehicle users would love it. And it pretty secluded. AwAwesome property
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. it is very peaceful and quiet.
Love all the updates that have been done.
We walked the trail, rode side by sides and enjoyed having a campfire.
The cabin is fully stocked, clean and cozy.
There is plenty of space for everyone.
Highly recommend.
We booked this property to visit lots of family in the area and go skiing at Christie Mountain. The ski mountain is minutes away and easy to get to. The home had a great space for entertaining and gave us a great opportunity to be in one home with space for everyone. Many games, chairs and tables all on site to be together. The home had everything we needed plus a lot of space to leave all our ski gear in the garage and not tracking it all through the house. Great entertaining space in the garage as well as the basement for kiddos to be together! This home has 3 bathrooms which worked perfectly for our large group! The home was clean and welcoming upon arrival. While there during our stay it snowed 12” of snow and the driveway was bladed before we even got out of bed! The owners were responsive and communicated with us through the whole stay! We will definitely be back!
Very nice house. Only about 20 years old and kept up to date. Quiet location in the woods. Kitchen has plenty of dishes, utensils, cooking gadgets, etc.

About the host
Hosted by Amy Luhmann
I have been managing a property in Southeast Minnesota for the past 4 years. I love getting to meet people from all over and having them enjoy the property as much as I do. Money Creek Ranch http://www.vrbo.com/139815
Why they chose this property
We rented the Blue Hills Hideaway 3 years ago and fell in love with it. I mentioned to the owners (Liz and Dale) that if they ever sell it to please let us know. We bought the Blue Hills Hideaway in January 2024.
We started renting it out as a VRBO in May of this year. (Liz had it as a VRBO for the last 4 years.)
What makes this property unique
The property is nice and secluded. Lots of space for everyone. It is a great place to stay when you are riding the great trails with your ATV's and snowmobiles or finding a lake nearby to fish in. Plus, the Ice Age walking trail is right out our back door.
