One of the best on VRBO!

My group and I had a wonderful stay at Christian’s home! We had a full weekend planned that included Keeneland, distillery tours, sightseeing at horse farms…and it was the perfect place to relax after a full day. The house is clean and has all the touches needed in the kitchen and each bathrooms. The only trouble we had was with the front door lock that was just replaced but Christian was quick to remedy with a solution. If you have a large group, definitely stay here.

Outside of Nicholasville, KY

Pros: Clean. General location is good. Well furnished. Comfortable beds. Recent renovation. Cons: Specific location isn’t quite as good as the surroundings. This street seems much more “modest” than other places in the general area. Golf course is visible but across a gravel equipment parking lot. Finished basement accessed by steep stairs, not for the limited mobility people. Only one a/c zone so when comfortable upstairs the downstairs is freezing. Just too many square feet of area for one HVAC unit and one upstairs thermostat. As a general tip, always read the listing carefully. The pictures showed an attached garage which is the main reason we rented this unit. We wanted secured parking. We were surprised that there was no access. In reading back through the listing, it says driveway parking. I foolishly thought that meant in addition to a garage space. But no. Some places with HOAs do not allow driveway parking, so I thought that was to clarify additional parking on the driveway was okay. . That isn’t an issue on this street. Cars are parked in yards, on the street side, and everywhere. Still, this place was good value and I would stay there again. 8 of 10.
