This beautiful property is well maintained and centrally located for the university, the city forest, the down town, and the ocean. We had a lovely stay.
Perfect location to see Redwood National Park and Humboldt State Park. Nice neighborhood. Comfy and beautiful interior. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.
Wonderful location, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable and quiet. Aubrey was a friendly and conscientious host with tips on where to eat, drink and walk/hike. A great price, too!
The house is immaculate and like new. We loved the ambiance and appreciated how many amenities were available. We were very comfortable and loved our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean and nicely furnished. The beds and pillows were comfy for sleeping, we had everything we needed for cooking, and Audrey was responsive and easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay and hope to return the next time we’re in town.
We loved our stay! It was very clean, well stocked, and convenient! Aubrey was great to work with; you can tell she and her husband take great pride in their place. We enjoyed the games they have for guests and we all slept great in the comfortable beds. I would 100% this lovely home! Thank you for a great weekend!
We stayed here for sisters graduation from Cal Poly Humboldt, its walking distance from campus.
The house was clean, kitchen had all you can need, even stocked with coffee.
There is no assigned parking but plenty of street parking right in front of the house door.
Amazing vacation rental. Super clean and tidy and modern decor. Location is perfect!! No issues with the parking because owner provided parking pases for our 2 cars!! Everything seemed to be thought out carefully for the renters comfort. We had a minor problem with the shower during our 7 day stay and the host was quick to answer my messages and provide a solution! Amazing. Honestly super recommended
This home is beautiful and very clean. We loved all the remodeling and the space felt even larger due to wonderful decorating. I absolutely recommend this home if you are staying in the area. The location was not initially desirable, but after checking in it was very peaceful. The location is beside a restaurant and bar, but we did not have any issues with noise, etc. The owner was fabulous and met all our questions with quick responses, even while she was traveling herself!
This very clean house was a perfect choice for my family as a stop on our road trip along the coast. The condition is like new and there is a convenient parking spot right in front of the house. Although neighbors are close and it’s on a city street, it was quiet overnight. We had great Mexican take out close by at Raliberto’s Taco Shop and breakfast at Los Bagels.
Very comfortable house! And a new experience for us of being on a street in town. Enjoyed very much being close to shops, places to eat, quiet in the house at night, in spite of being in town. Nice central spot to travel around the general area. We enjoyed seeing the students coming and going to classes. Young energy everywhere! Met no problems!
This was the perfect home-away from home to stay for our visit to Arcata. The house is conveniently located to downtown for eating out and shopping for eating in. Although located on a busy corner with cars and walkers, the interior was very quiet and peaceful. The only negative was occasionally having to park a short distance from the house which can make unloading and loading a bit inconvenient. Interior is fully updated and beautiful. I hope to have another occasion to revisit! Thank you, Aubrey.
Audrey is a great communicator. The place is very nice. Super clean. The distance is nice to downtown. It’s a two bedroom but there is a living room with double pocket doors to close off the room. And in the living room there is a sofa bed. This arrangement worked well for us because there was three of us all wanting our own space. The unit is on a busy-ish street so if you’re sensitive to noise, that may be an issue. The noise was muffled because the windows and walls are well insulated. We would definitely return. It was the perfect stopover.
This was truly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. It’s quite clean, tastefully decorated and the host has thought of every detail one could wish for including luggage racks in the bedrooms, wonderful cozy quilts on the very comfortable beds and ceiling fans in all the rooms. The home (because that’s what it felt like) is refreshingly uncluttered yet has has everything one could want. The house is well within walking distance (even for someone with arthritis in various joints) of some excellent restaurants. The street it is situated on is relatively busy but the house is well insulated and quiet within. The host was delightfully responsive to any questions we had. My husband and I hope to get back there one day.
