Beachcomber Bungalow: Slow Down, East of A1A, Heated Pool, Hot Tub & Beach Gear

Some places you stay in. This one stays with you.

Beachcomber Bungalow isn't a vacation rental. It's an invitation to live differently for a few days — to slow down, disconnect from the noise, and remember what actually matters. Guests have been walking through this door since 2014 and leaving a little different than they arrived. That's what this place is for.

The Location
Steps from the Atlantic — and you don't even have to cross A1A to get there. Grab the beach wagon, load it up with chairs, umbrellas, and all the gear you need — it's all here — and you're on the sand in minutes. The Village Beach Shops and Citron Bistro are literally next door.

The Bungalow
Heated pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, a full kitchen stocked with good tools, beach cruisers for exploring the island, and every piece of beach gear you could need. Simple, warm, and well curated so you can stop thinking and start being here.

A Little Different
We do things a little differently here. Refillable toiletries instead of single use bottles. Compostable bags. Cloth napkins and kitchen rags. A compost bin in the kitchen. None of it is required, but some of it might follow you home.

Turtle Season (May–October)
This is an active sea turtle nesting beach. We leave red light flashlights out for nighttime beach walks — white light disorients hatchlings and nesting mothers. It's something small we can all do to protect something ancient.

Rocket Launches
Cape Canaveral is just up the coast. When there's a launch, you can watch it light up the sky right from the beach. Check the launch schedule before you arrive — it's worth planning around.

Amanda was an amazing host! This was literally one of our best stays ever. Amanda has thought of the little comforts of home and includes them with the rental - lots of towels - bath, pool, and beach, beach chairs, beach toys, bikes, a wagon for getting everything down to the beach and back. Her home is charming and spacious. I highly recommend Beachfront Bungalow for families wanting a beach experience while also having a pool for relaxation any time of day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beachcomber Bungalow. The house was fully stocked (from kitchen supplies, pool and beach toys, games and books, to cosmetics needs) and clean. The pool was a nice reprieve when the beach was too hot. Comfy couch and beds! We explored Sebastian Inlet State Park and the Farmers’ Market Oceanside. The beach is truly a short walk away. We loved seeing all the lizards and bunnies near the house and while out and about. Checking in and out wasn’t complicated because of Amanda’s clear communication.

Great owner communication! This is definitely a hidden gem of a house and a neighborhood. Extremely well appointed house with easy access to A1A just minutes from shops and restaurants on the beach. Plenty of room with three bedrooms and an awesome screened patio and pool. Don't forget to go around the corner of the house for the outdoor shower.Now, the neighborhiod is great. Very short walk to the beach and don't be afraid to say hello to your neighbors, they are all very cool people. And be sure to say hello to the bulldog Brie, across the street. There is no parking at the end of the road as it dead ends into the ocean but that means no one is there so walk.out and pick your own 100 yards of beach for yourself. There is plenty of room!Enjoy!

Everything! Easy to work with host. (Thanks Amanda!) Squeaky clean with an open style and every sort of serving and cookware imaginable. From deliciously comfortable beds and couches, a few steps to a clean private beach, friendly neighbors and everything you will need for a family or friend vacation. The location is just a few minutes into to town to enjoy the plethora eateries and shopping. Stayed twice....so far. ;)

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay! The home was incredibly clean and welcoming, stocked with everything we needed for a fun filled family vacation! Why they chose this property

This bungalow is just far enough away to be a perfect beach escape. I also LOVE the beach here for more of a locals experience. The floor plan is perfect for cooking and enjoying the pool view. Beachcomber Bungalow Home #3833706 is north A1A just south 10 minutes from the Disney Beach Resort. This home is within a very short walking distance to the beach/ocean and a boutique shopping center with an awesome restaurant called Citron Bistro serving breakfast, lunch & dinners, plus take out.

What makes this property unique

The house has bikes, beach wagon, kayaks with tow carts, toys, pool floaties, beach towels, and everything you could need for a nice beach vacation. When you are ready to get out of the sun and relax, the entertainment room is perfect to chill in and watch TV after a full day. It is a great home for a romantic escape, or a family adventure. Good place to stay to get involved in the yoga community and create a yoga retreat
