About this property
Enjoy Lake Gaston with our private dock and deep water. Available August 18-28
Enjoy early check in at 11:00am and late check out at 5:00pm in the fall, winter, and spring. Message for more details. Come and enjoy all that Lake Gaston has to offer in our spacious house located on a quiet cove right off main lake. We are located on the waterfront with private two-story dock with 10-12 feet of water! Feel free to rent a boat or bring your own and tie it up to the boat cleats. This house is the perfect location - quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants, and stores.
This home has an open floor plan - kitchen, family & dining room on the main level. In addition, there are four nicely sized bedrooms, and three full baths, one on each level. In the quiet cove, you can enjoy an afternoon paddle using our paddle boards, kayaks, peddleboat, and canoe.
KITCHEN - The kitchen comes fully stocked with everything you need to cook for your family including stainless steel pots and pans, cast iron skillet, baking sheets, casserole dishes, and much more! Also, everything you need to serve the meal is provided (plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, silverware, etc.) There is an eight-person dining table with two additional barstools or utilize our deck with a dining table and chairs.
FAMILY ROOM - The family room has a wood burning fireplace with a large reclining couch and love seat. The large TV comes with a firestick with access to YouTube TV (live TV and recordings). You can also log into your streaming services. Enjoy the board games and puzzles located in the cabinet under the stairs.
Also, on the main level, you will have a recently remodeled full bath, a bedroom with king size bed, and a laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is a pack n' play and highchair located in the closet. The doors from family room/dining area open to large deck with cornhole boards, glass top outdoor table and chairs and wrap around wooden seating.
2nd floor:
The open loft area upstairs overlooks the family area. On the 2nd floor there are 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. The primary bedroom has a king bed and smart TV and access to the full bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed, a twin bed, and can access the bathroom through a hall door. The full bathroom is newly updated with a large soaking tub/shower combo, vanity, and private toilet area with a bidet.
LOWER LEVEL - Head downstairs to enjoy the recreation area with foosball and ping pong in the unfinished basement. Or enjoy the smart TV, sitting area, and dry bar in the finished basement. On that same level there is an oversized bedroom with two queen beds and full bath.
OUTSIDE - Large dock with shade and sun! Enjoy the 2nd level sun deck with incredible main lake views. Private dock is ready for fun with plenty of deck chairs and shade. Storage shed located next to dock comes with life vests, floating noodles, and other fun things or try out the canoe, peddle boat, kayaks, and paddle boards. Large waterfront area with deep water and zero entry area with rocks to one side of the dock (great for kids and dogs). Depth of water end of dock is 10-12 feet.
Things to do in the area (other than enjoy the beautiful lake):
- Rosemont Winery: excellent selection of wines and beautiful outdoor and indoor seating
- Lakeside mini golf in Henrico (there’s often a flea market next door too). On your way, check out the local garden store (Wildwood Nursery)
- explore shops, restaurants, and brewery in downtown Littleton
- hike: we recommend asking the people at Lake Gaston Outfitters store for some suggestions
- visit the Bigfoot museum (one room museum) in Littleton
- Lake Gaston coffee & cafe: one of our favorite local spots
Interested in RENTING A BOAT? Check out our nearby marinas - Lake Gaston Summer Rentals, Overby Marina, and Southepoint Marina.
Bringing your OWN BOAT? You may access a boat ramp at the above marinas or there is a public boat ramp at Poplar Creek (10450 Hwy 903, Bracey, VA) near Shady Shack restaurant.
We will have our boats and PWC docked, however you are welcome to tie up directly in front of our dock using the boat cleats.
We do not provide LINENS. You will need to bring your own sheets (2 Ks, 3 Q, and 1 T beds), pillowcases, and towels. We provide comforters, pillows, and extra blankets located in closets throughout the house.
We provide a few STARTER SUPPLIES to help you settle in, including one roll of paper towels, toilet paper, 1-2 dishwasher pods, hand soap in bathrooms, dish soap in kitchen, basic cleaning supplies located under the kitchen sink, and some extra toiletries are located in main level bathroom cabinet. However, these are just to get you started; guests are responsible for bringing or purchasing their own paper products and other consumables for the remainder of their stay.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a $250 replacement fee for any lost/broken watercrafts. We LOVE sharing these with you, however from one family to another we rely on you to be honest and accountable. Please put all watercrafts and items back as found for the next guests. Watercrafts and inflatables are USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. We have life jackets available for use in the storage shed. You MUST wear a life vest while using the watercrafts (It is the law).
No jumping or diving off the dock! Always check water depth and wear a life vest.
Nature Reminder: Our home is nestled in a wooded area, so you may occasionally see local wildlife—including insects and snakes. While some of these encounters are rare, we encourage guests to stay aware of their surroundings when outside and to stay out of the wooded pine straw area. Rest assured, the property is professionally treated by pest control on a regular schedule.

About the host
Hosted by Brian & Audra

We love Lake Gaston and love spending time at the house with our family and friends! We discovered Lake Gaston shortly after moving to North Carolina and we were instantly hooked. We love our neighborhood because it's close to 85 and 95 and the grocery store and restaurants, but most importantly, we love our dock and hanging out in the lake.
