The house is only a three to four minute walk to the ocean and boardwalk!
This spacious home has a big yard, (not fenced in) a large screened porch, two living rooms, a dining room, eat-in kitchen, three bedrooms, two full baths and a hot water outdoor shower.
You can park in the two-car driveway and walk to the ocean, boardwalk, arcade, convention center and restaurants. The Acme grocery store and Washington Street Mall are just a few more blocks away.
Being so close to the beach and boardwalk is one of the great advantages of this house. In the quiet of an evening, you can sit on the screened porch and (depending on the wind) often hear the waves crashing!
There's a lot of space on the main floor, so even with six people, you never feel crowded. The breezy screened porch is right off the kitchen and has plenty of seating.
The bright sitting room has a large tv and comfortable seating for six. The dining room has shelves of puzzles, cards and games; the expandable table seats up to ten people and is adjacent to a cozy living room.
The large, eat-in kitchen walks out to the screened porch with a picnic table that seats six. Everything you would need to prepare and serve a Thanksgiving or any holiday dinner is provided.
The master bedroom with a king bed, big tv and en suite full bath is on the main floor. The other two bedrooms are on the top floor, where there is another full bath; each upstairs bedroom has two twin beds and a tv.
Housebroken, well trained dogs over the age of eight months are welcome. We cannot accept cats due to the owners' and their children’s cat allergies.
Linens are NOT provided; you can bring your own towels, sheets and pillowcases from home, or rent them locally. We provide pillows, pillow protectors, mattress pads, blankets and bedspreads.
Beach chairs, an umbrella and beach wagon are located in the area underneath the porch.

Important Note For Guests Who Plan on Bringing a Dog
We realize that it can be hard on pets to be separated from their owners, especially if they have to be kenneled, and it’s more enjoyable for many people to have their dogs with them while they're on vacation and not have to pay for pet-sitting or boarding, or worry about how they’re faring back home.
We’ve had great success for many years in providing this vacation rental as dog- friendly and without pet fees by trusting our guests to bring only completely house-broken dogs, and relying on our guests to keep the house clean and as free from pet hair as possible, just as they would their own home.
It's totally understandable that not everyone wants to commit to housecleaning chores while they're on vacation, so please only consider this house if you agree to the following:
We ask guests with dogs who shed to vacuum up pet hair and dander from the furniture and rugs - including on the screened porch. The vacuum cleaner and extra bags are in the closet near the front door.
Sheets and blankets designated for dogs are located in the cabinet under the tv in the sitting room. These should be used if the dogs go on the furniture ~ please be sure and put them back there before you leave.
Every effort should be made to keep dogs off beds; however, if they have gotten bedding muddy or sandy, then the affected bedspreads and blankets must be washed and dried and put back in the bedroom where they belong. If only a little hair is on the bedding, please place in dryer on low with a dryer sheet, to remove any pet hair. The washer and dryer are conveniently located in the kitchen.
Please pick up after your dog in the yard and neighborhood during walks.
Dogs may not be left on the deck or screened porch if you are not home.
Each dog must be approved by the homeowners.
Guests must comply completely with the Pet Addendum and provide requested details about the dogs to the homeowners in an email.
The yard is not fenced; please make sure the gate on the deck is locked; EVEN BIG DOGS CAN GET THROUGH the small pet-door on the screened porch.

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, beach tags are required for all beachgoers aged twelve and over and will not be supplied by your accommodations. *
* The City of Cape May prohibits the transferring of seasonal beach tags; the law requires that no one is allowed to provide tags to use on a temporary basis, be it an individual or a commercial establishment.
