We loved staying in this NOLA home. It was very spacious for 6 adults and the primary bedroom and bathroom were very large! Location is ideal, close enough to the action, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Annie was great to communicate with. A great stay overall!
I stayed here with my children and had a wonderful time. The home was clean, updated but still charming and the location was ideal for walking around and being a tourist, then returning to a quiet neighborhood.I dropped the ball on some logistics checking in and the host was incredibly responsive and kind.I read a review that gave a heads up that there was a scrap metal shop across the street and I thought that was good to know going in. I would happily stay there again. We were sad to leave.
The home was wonderful. The only issue someone had broken the latch to the microwave before we arrived so it wasnt working. No big deal because the home was really clean and nice.
With a perfect location nestled between all the major neighborhoods of Nola this home is beautifully renovated, spacious, and comfortable! Neighborhood is safe a quiet regardless of an industrial garage across the street. The kitchen is amazing and the mater bathroom is a dream! The host was helpful and very responsive when I asked to extend my stay! Would definitely stay again and I highly recommend!
The property was great. Nice large space with all of the charm of a older New Orleans shot gun house. It was just as described. I was able to park right in front of the rental every day when returning. And there was a lot more parking available. There were no issues at all with business across the street (that takes up the whole block). Being just a block off Tchoupitoulas made travelling around very easy. I really appreciated that it was a nice quiet street with very little traffic. I would definitely recommend this rental.
This was a very nice house perfect for our stay over the weekend trying to stay close to friends living in the area. Host was communicated well. Would stay there again. Thank you.
We had very nice stay, beautiful old style architecture. Excellent location, quiet street. We stayed for Christmas week to be with my husband this holiday. Annie the host is very quick response. We’ll definitely stay again.
The home was great! Better than the photos even. The location was good. It’s sandwiched between industry and residential but it was great for us. Plenty of parking and a quick walk to Magazine Street. Drove to St Charles and parked on the street to take the trolley downtown a number of times as well. Didn’t have any issues while there and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Would stay again!
The listing was spot on. House was very clean and organized. Great location if you don’t like the busyness of downtown. Very easy access to and from. Street parking right outside the house. I would recommend to anyone who is looking.
We stayed here while traveling from Texas to South Carolina. We made a 2-night stop so we could spend a full day at the WWII museum with our kids, which was amazing. The condo was immaculately clean, and very nicely updated. The bedrooms were very large and the master was amazing. The neighborhood was a little intimidating at first, as it’s a mix of commercial/industrial and residential, but we found it very quiet, comfortable and safe. We walked the dog around and found plenty of grass and found the neighborhood quite charming with a mix of older homes as well as modern/updated homes. We used Uber to access the museum and French Quarter area and it was very easy, quick and affordable. Street parking was plentiful and never a problem, even on a weekend.
This property was absolutely gorgeous…the appliances are new and the beds are so comfy…don’t let the neighborhood fool you we were a little nervous at first but it ended up being just fine. About 10-15 minute Uber to downtown New Orleans so you are “in it” but not “in it” which worked for us…would stay there again in a heartbeat
Annie the host was great! Quick to reply. Her place is awesome just up the street from the French Quarter. You can drive over to the trolleys and catch them or you can Lyft or Uber it’s not that far. It’s in the warehouse district on a quiet street. There’s a Walmart literally up the street. Very spacious modern appliances, hardwood floors, clean. It’s a bit of a grand surprise cause it looks smaller outside than it is! The beds were comfortable. She has a huge jet tub! Two people can fit in it. Great after walking a lot. Annie’s place is a must! I will be staying there again no doubt. Thank you ANNIE!
Annie communicated all information very thoroughly before our arrival. I was familiar with the neighborhood so I didn’t have any concerns but for anyone who isn’t, it’s a neighborhood that has changed dramatically for the better in the last 10 yrs. Mix of business and residential. House is across the street from some sort of machine works - no problem at all. Awesome actually because it was so quiet. Great parking on street in front of house. I love this part of NOLA because it’s close to everything you want to do via a short uber or drive. The house itself is a mix of classic vintage home with modern kitchen and bathrooms. I’m never going to NOLA to cook a meal, so it was perfect for me and my kids. We brought in breakfast stuff and that was it. It has a keurig coffee maker that has k-cup and ground coffee carafe - take coffee, cream and sugar. Only one tv but who goes to NOLA to watch TV? Family room is small but worked for the three of us. There is a very small strip (Maybe 2’ wide) behind that is mostly fenced but if you have a small dog be careful if you let out there. At night it’s really dark and there are some areas in the fence they could slip through. And areas that are open where dog could get under the house. Neighborhood is very walkable with dogs. Bathroom lighting is not great. I don’t wear makeup but my daughter does. Very tiny issue. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.
