Convenient location for hiking, restaurants, airport, and grocery stores. Apartment was clean and spacious with a great view of the mountain across the Gastineau Channel. Stairs are required to access apartment.
This was a wonderful stay and perfect location. Our host was great and was so very helpful. We plan to stay here again - top of the list for us! Lots of room for us and a complete kitchen and laundry. Quiet and close to trails. A wonderful experience.
Very convenient location only 10min from downtown Juneau. Clean, v functional place, excellent communication with owners. Well stocked in terms of laundry facilities, kitchen supplies.
What an excellent spot to stay when visiting Juneau. We rented a car so we were able to check out the area without any issues. Loved how close the house was to some wonderful walking trails and access to the beach. Clint was so wonderful. He helped out my husband with some fishing gear and recommendrecommended fishing locations.
The place was clean, had comfortable beds we were very active and we appreciate the comfortable beds, shower, kitchen, Tv. Everything worked and slept great after a long day
This place had everything we needed. Our host, Clint, went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The kitchen was great! No problems there. We enjoyed the Treadway trail daily. The trail head was right outside the door. The weather was perfect and sunny! We were at a 3 day wedding celebration and were able to do everything outside. The location of our apartmet was perfect for all festivities. Thank you Clint!!!!
This place had wonderful access to the historic Treadwell Mine site and other nearby hiking trails. Also within easy walking distance was the bus stop for route 1 to Juneau and the playground at the Savikko/Sandy Beach park.
There were lots of (huge) salmon berries and blueberries growing nearby when we visited in mid July. The kitchen was very functional: We made a crisp with the berries we picked.
The apartment was clean and quiet, with a great view of the cruise ships passing through the Gatineau channel. Clint was a wonderful and accessible host.
The property was in a perfect location- right across the water from downtown Juneau. Great views from the living room and bedrooms. The floor plan was comfortable and a good size for the three of us. The host was great with communication. There is a pub with great food down the street. We were 5 minutes from downtown but still a bit away from the crowdedness of downtown. Kitchen had what we needed and the beds were comfortable. One bit of improvement could be to cozy up the living room. There is a futon in there which is great for another sleeping spot but for us we would have liked to have been able to snuggle up in the evenings in a cozier space or enjoy that great view in the mornings on a comfy couch. Parking was convenient and the trails being right outside was a nice plus. It was a short walk to the beach from the property. We enjoyed our stay.
Our stay here was one of the best parts of the trip. Great views, location, and hospitality. Steps away from a great hiking trail, disc golf course, and a beach for fishing. Klint and his wife were extremely accommodating to our every need, going over the top to make sure we were comfortable. Had all the breakfast needs you could want, saved us a lot of money on groceries. Can’t wait to stay again!
The apartment was clean and comfortable with a great view and location. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We appreciated having a kitchen stocked with breakfast foods!
This is a wonderful place to stay! It has wonderful views, plenty of space, and is a short walk to the beach. My family and I would definitely stay here again.
Had a great time in area, location was excellent, enjoyed the mine history and we went down to the beach which is a short walk. Coho salmon were running and caught some right down on the beach. Only problems were air bed didnt stay inflated and could use a toaster.
This was perfect for 5 of us. We enjoyed the kitchen a lot-had our very own crab boil! The beach was the right distant for our 21 yr old daughter and boyfriend to venture off unattended, but within a watching eye. The deck and big picture windows make the whole place top notch.
the views of the mountain where incredible. The path ti the water were right there. The host had anything you could need in the kitchen. Beds where okay, can sleep 4 comfortably. Blow up bed what not comfortable and took up the who living room. Couch was conft for sleeping but old and the material was falling off. Everything was well stocked and we saved so much money making our own meals! Very comfortable and honey.
Really enjoyed the location! The apartment was roomy, homey and clean! Needs living room furniture and bed updates!! The breakfast food Tara provided was wonderful and much appreciated!!
Even though it seems like it's away from everything its worth it cause its not. The worst part for us was the parking because it shares a parking lot with a well used trail in the area which is also awesome! Would definitely stay here again if we make it back. We had one incident where we didn't have a place to park but that was fixed within minutes by the owner who let us park by the main house for the night. Beautiful view of the Mount Robert's and Gastineau Channel. Great way to start the morning with a cup of coffee taking in the view of the mountains and the channel.
