Great place, peaceful, quiet, clean and comfortable. Only surprise was the rough gravel road/driveway 1.4miles, you will not want to drive a low riding sports car on this. This drive does make it very remote without any close neighbors. Love it and will visit again!

We had the most wonderful time with our extended family. The house was roomy and the views incredible. Being right on LAKE NANTAHALA was the best experience for everyone. We had Kayaks, paddle boards and a small boat that came with a large tube to pull the kids around. Overall the house was well stocked. The kitchen had enough dishes and pots and pans and everything in good condition. The best thing was the owner\host was so responsive to our needs and accommodated us when we ran out of toilet paper and paper towels. John also put an extra bed in the house for us. We will definitely return for another visit. I will caution people that the road getting to the property was pretty rough and we lost internet so we had a bit of difficulty getting finding the house. But once there….it was perfect. Highly recommend this property!
