This property is a beautiful eighteenth-century stone house. Thanks to the careful and creative restoration work of the owner the house has perfectly kept the typical mountain style and the old structure preserving the original wood and furniture. The result is a two-floors house rich in well-groomed and traditional details as the sophisticated design of the furniture, the precious fabrics and the suggestive lighting. The place is located in the heart of a little hamlet and it is ideal for a pleasant holiday. In summer you can relax in the nice garden near the house and appreciate the harmony of the calm environment. The accommodation is composed of a kitchen, a cellar, a breakfast room, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is also a private car park. I'm also a nature guide who will go with you to discover the peculiarities of the Champorcher valley, its protected areas, the Natural Park of Mont Avic and the beautiful Alleigne valley.

A cozy and warm wooden oasis in the heart of the Alps
We were greeted and welcomed by the landlord who made us feel at home straight away. The house on two floors is incredibly charming and warm entirely fitted with hand carved wood yet modern and functional in all services.
I definitely recommend it!

Great mountain village stay
Everything was absolutely great. Surroundings are beautiful-plenty of treks: easy and more strenghous. Few restaurants in the village. Very nice private garden near the house. The owner is extremelly helpful and kind-he arranged everything for our little daughter and baked us fresh bread every morning!
Really enjoyed the stay!

Lovingly crafted spacious B&B in a historic home, in a tiny village perched on a mountainside
Your host Massimiliano is a wood carver who has carefully restored his ancestral home with careful detail. The main floor is divided into a large well-equipped eat in kitchen, a large dining room, and a bathroom with laundry. Upstairs there are two suites that close off for privacy, each with two bedrooms and a full bathroom. There is a small balcony with a beautiful view, as well as a small garden with an outdoor table. All the furniture is wood carved and the decoration has a welcoming Aosta Alpine feel. Massimiliano provides a sumptuous breakfast of highest quality local foods, with yogurts, focaccia, a fruit tart, breads and many jams. The Champorcher Valley was absolutely stunning. Massimiliano took us out for a two hour introductory hike the afternoon of our arrival, during which we learned about the local history and geography. He suggested two magnificent and very different day long hikes for the next two days. It surprised us how few people were on these beautiful trails, mostly Italian hikers, a few French. On the first hike we climbed through a pass and saw the Italian side of the Matterhorn, and a series of beautiful Alpine Lakes, passing by two Refugios. On the next day's hike the high meadows put us in a Sound of Music mood, and the return was through a spectacular canyon. Massimiliano is a gracious, attentive and very available host, proud of his home and heritage, who patiently answered our many questions and made our stay very comfortable. We would all gladly return for more exploration of the Champorcher Valley.

A wonderful vacation rental
I highly recommend this rental. The house is beautiful, well kept, and very roomy. It was stocked with all the things you could possibly need on a vacation (dishes, linens, laundry facilities, basic food) and truly felt like a home away from home. The owner was very attentive to our needs. He not only made breakfast for us every morning, he also advised us on which hikes to take, helped us meet a local artist who's work we expressed interest in, and answered all the questions we had about the area (restaurants, shopping, walking trails). I would stay here again and would recommend this rental to family and friends.
