Beautiful Home
We have never rented a home before as we normally stay at hotels. We weren't really sure what to expect upon arrival but this home is exactly as depicted in the pictures and description. It is beautiful! We loved that the living area was on the top floor so we could enjoy the views from the wall of windows. Most mornings we would see deer. The kitchen has everything you need, even had some spices, oils, tea and coffee. The bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. There were more than enough towels, sheets and blankets. Our favorite room was the sunroom, where we sat every evening. There were DVDs, puzzles, games, and plenty of books to entertain. Absolutely loved this house and would not hesitate to rent it again.

Truly beautiful home!
The pictures cannot do this home justice. It sits back in the woods with an amazing view of the mountains and Sound below. The house was incredibly clean and well kept. There are bookshelves throughout the house with every type of book from kids to mystery to history of the Island. We saw deer behind the house every morning (stayed in late June). We would stay here again and have already recommended this home to a couple of our friends for trips to Acadia.

Couldnt be more pleased!!!
My wife and I arrived to a perfectly clean and well appointed home better than could ever be described on this website. We usually rent homes when we vacation and this has been one of the best. Everything that you need and all the comforts of home are there. On the first morning we were there, deer came walking across the front of the deck and meandered down the trail. Also on multiple occasions when we left the house to go out deer were walking in the driveway. This was a wonderful place to relax and getaway. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are short distances from the house. A vast array of restaurants are there to choose from. The Side Street Cafe in Bar Harbor was fantastic. If you like Lobster Mac n Cheese, this was the best I've had in New England. The property manager Tom , was a pleasure to work with and made this experience trouble free. I would recommend this home for anyone looking to getaway in Mt Desert Island.
