This place worked perfect for us. We had been on a motorcycle ride for eight days with 2 other couples traveling from Washington down the coast of Oregon and California we were ready to relax and cool down in the pool and nice house. We actually asked if we could come one day early and they arranged it which we really appreciate. Thanks again Scott and Glenda your home is beautiful we would stay again

What an amazing home. Scott and Glenda are such fantastic hosts. Their home is the perfect place for families to enjoy time together. The pool is perfect. The beds are comfy. The home is well appointed with the creature comforts of a home away from your own home. Thank you Scott and Glenda for sharing your home.

The Blue Door Retreat was not just clean, comfy and well appointed; it was fun. The house being in Tartesso was perfect for us as we were visiting family there. The pool turned our 7 year old grand daughter into the mermaid she was sure she was. We loved our stay and will hopefully be able to stay in the future. It set a new bar for hospitality.

Blue Door Retreat worked perfectly for our time in Buckeye. The home was spacious and beautifully decorated. Scott & Glenda responded clearly and quickly to any questions we had concerning the property. The surrounding area had a sports area where you could walk or get food from the nightly food trucks - fun! Great place to stay and would love to stay there again!

The house, yard, and pool were exceptionally clean. Hanging out in the pool was a great way to spend a hot Arizona day. We did not see much of the surrounding area as we just hung out with Family. We had not seen in a long time and barbecued with the provided grill.

Beautiful backyard and pool! Even on cooler January days, it was a great place for that first cup of coffee in the morning, and lovely relaxing in the backyard in the afternoon! The house was comfortable, attractively decorated, and stocked with everything we needed! Glenda and Scott were welcoming and helpful, responding quickly when we had questions! Our go to in Buckeye

This was the second time staying at the Blue Door Retreat. The space, inside and out, is great for families and there is a park in walking distance. The pool is great for all ages and the hosts have great pool accessories to enjoy. They really do think of everything you might need for your stay including your family pet.

Scott and Glenda were quick to address any problems. Even when I clogged the garbage disposal! The home and patio were pristine and spacious. Furniture was comfy. We felt like we were at a 5 star resort. We stayed for 4 weeks and had a wonderful time. Only 15 minutes for gas, groceries and restaurants in Buckeye. Enjoyed as many restaurants as we could. Make sure you check out the beautiful metal art for sale down the road. We would definitely stay again next time we go to Arizona.

Great home with everything you could need!

My family and I stayed here while visiting my sister’s family. The home had every amenity you could need and was so nice, clean and spacious. My 1 and 3 year old boys were with us and having the pool completely gated off was great. Also, the nearby parks have splash pads which they enjoyed. We will definitely consider staying again next time we visit my sister!

Shannon, thank you for the great review, we're so happy you enjoyed the house, pool, and all the extras we've tried to think of. You're actually the first guest to mention the fence. We installed that thinking about our own grand children. Glad you felt your own kids were safe in the back yard. Please come back soon. Scott and Glenda

We were extremely pleased with the cleanliness of Blue Door Retreat. The decor was tasteful. The kitchen was stocked with whatever we might need. The bathrooms had thick, fluffy bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. The beds were super comfortable, and the sheets were so luxurious. The outdoor space was perfect with a covered patio and beautiful pool. If you wanted shade, you got it. If you wanted sun you, had it. We loved everything about Blue Door Retreat.
