This villa, set only a few km away from Lucca (7km), was once a farmhouse used to store hay, today it has been refurbished by the owners who paid particular attention to its original old style. The accommodation is surrounded by luxuriant olive trees and its position guarantees an amazing view over the valley. Here all the guests can enjoy a peaceful stay and a complete privacy. The villa has luxury finishing, parquet flooring and two terraces with old terracotta paving. The villa can host up to 7 people. It is made up of two staggered floor.
Ground floor: yoga studio and wide veranda (it can be easily opened) right in front of the swimming pool, king size bedroom with en suite bathroom, shower and double sink. Room with 2 single beds and bathroom with tub, bedroom with french bed. Laundry room endowed with washing machine and iron.
On the first floor: well equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and different utility tools) toilet and wide living room.
Outside area: the big garden of olive trees and oleander is equipped with: barbecue and swimming pool (6x11). The villa is entirely fenced and endowed with electric gate. 3 hours cleaning service on Saturday, for a min stay of 2 weeks, is included in the fare, and Internet Wi-Fi included.

Security deposit (refundable when you leave) € 400. Tourism tax € 3.50/person/day, max 3 days, free chd under 14

Stunning! Exactly as advertised.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this villa. Private and quiet location, although within 20 mins driving distance to Lucca. Neighbours scatter around, although not overlooked from any angle. Teenagers were easily able to amuse themselves in the pool, which is a great size and well maintained. House well equipped, comfy, and spotlessly clean. Many dinners enjoyed on the outside terrace. Would 100% stay again.

Schön gelegen auf einer Anhöhe, umrahmt von Olivenbäumen. Schöner grosser Pool mit 5 Sonnenliegen, aber leider nur 1 Schirm. Man kann die Liegen aber auch im Garten in den Schatten schieben. Die Anfahrt ist teils sehr eng und am Haus auch recht steil. Die Parksituation ist nicht optimal. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Leider ist das WLAN sehr schwach. Die Schlafzimmer sind etwas muffig und sehr unterschiedlich. Die Fenster haben zum Glück Fliegengitter, es gab recht viele Stechmücken und einige Bremsen, weil es Pferde und Esel in der Nähe gibt. Der Ausblick auf Lucca ist sehr schön, Lucca ist in ca. 10 Minuten per Auto erreichbar.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Das alleinstehende Haus ist mit dem Auto gut auf einer durchgehend asphaltierten Strasse erreichbar. Die Vermieter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist groß und komplett eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und aufgeräumt. Wir haben häufig gekocht und nichts vermisst. Es ist ruhig gelegen, das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt, u.a. viele alte schöne Olivenbäumen sind dort zu finden. Der Pool ist sehr groß, sauber und wurde regelmäßig gereinigt. Der Aufenthalt hat uns (Familie mit 3 Jugendlichen) sehr gefallen. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und würden auch jederzeit wieder kommen.

Tolles Haus mit großen Pool

Tolles Haus mit super Aussicht bei Lucca. Wir haben mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern einen wunderbaren Urlaub in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Die Lage ist toll mit schönem Ausblick über die Hügel nach Lucca. Die Anfahrt war gut erklärt und es war einfach zu finden. Mit großem Auto ist der Weg zum Haus und die Einfahrt allerdings eine Herausforderung. Das Grundstück ist absolut privat und ruhig. Der Besitzer kam mehrmals zum Reinigen des Pools und zur Pflege des Gartens. Wir können dieses Haus absolut weiterempfehlen. Danke Enrico für diesen schönen Urlaub.

Heerlijke vakantie

Fijn ruim huis met een geweldige tuin en zwembad. Heel rustig gelegen met veel privacy, maar niet eenzaam want er staan meerdere huizen op de heuvel. Zeer hartelijke ontvangst. De eigenaar komt twee keer per week langs om het zwembad schoon te maken en er is twee keer per week een huishoudelijke hulp, die ook de bedden verschoont. Het was heel warm, dus we hebben optimaal van het zwembad geprofiteerd. Het was ook prettig dat de slaapkamers in het souterrain liggen. Het was daar relatief minder warm (!). De "master bedroom" was heel ruim met een grote badkamer, maar het enige minpuntje was misschien het smalle tweepersoonsbed in een van de andere twee slaapkamers, zeker gezien de warmte. Het huis heeft verder alle voorzieningen en borden/bestek etc is ruim aanwezig. Een supermarkt ligt op 10 minuten rijden en Lucca op 20 minuten. Kortom, we hebben een heerlijke vakantie doorgebracht in dit huis.

Beautiful house in an amazing location

An amazing place to spend a week escaping. Beautiful house - ideal for a small family - had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. Very clean and well presented. Pool was rather lush (and chlorine-free). Quiet and dark at night and not overlooked (though not totally isolated). Enrico was friendly and very helpful. House was exactly as described but even better than expected. Within 20 minutes drive of the very special city of Lucca, with its ancient tree-lined walls, narrow streets, towers, churches, galleries and shops. Very friendly and safe city with lots of parking just outside the city walls. Also plenty of supermarkets for self-catering. Road to villa was narrow in places with some tight corners, but was quiet throughout and was fine if taken carefully. Driveway to villa was a bit steep and narrow, but we managed with a small car. Area around Lucca was great - lots of historic villas and some beautiful Tuscan scenery. Just over an hour by train to Florence. Under an hour's drive to coast or to Pisa. Thanks for everything - would definitely recommend :)

Better than we imagined!

The photos and description in the HomeAway website are inviting, but the actual house itself - and the setting - are even more so. The house, set on a hillside in olive groves, was clean, spacious, and cozy. From the house, the views of the surrounding hills and the town below were stunning. The garden and pool area was well maintained and very pleasant. Communicating with the owner and owner was easy to do. From this house, we drove to Florence several times, Carrara and Pietrasanta, and Bolgheri. We went several times into Lucca, 10 min. away, with many restaurants and shops and an old fortified wall surrounding the old town. We would definitely recommend this property to others - we may even return ourselves in the not-too-distant future!
