Great spot for my family of 4 in Carrboro. Nice to have working AC and laundry. It’s not like in the center of Carrboro but easy walking everywhere (less than 10 minutes into downtown Carrboro and a little over a mile from the center of UNC campus).
The Heel House met expectations - it was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Parking was safe, laundry worked well and air-conditioning was perfect. It was easy to communicate with the hosts. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants in Carrboro. It was an easy drive to UNC - it was nice to stay away from the bustle of Franklin Street but be near enough to venture into it.
This house is close to Franklin street and everything is within walking distance of you choose to walk. Neighborhood seemed quiet and safe. We had plenty of room for parking our SUV. The kitchen is stocked with everything except a crockpot. A crockpot would be nice for days you are out exploring and no time to cook. There were plenty of towels and the washer and dryer worked well. The beds were comfortable. I would stay here again.
This home was a great convenient location to Chapel Hill andCarrboro. It was easily walkable to anywhere we wanted to go. The home allowed pets, which was very helpful for us. It was very clean and well-maintained. The owners were extremely responsive.
Fantastic home, conveniently located and walkable to many nearby restaurants and attractions. The home was well equipped, comfortable and spotless! We would gladly return and definitely recommend staying here to others.
Nice clean place, walkable downtown, beautiful area, wonderful host. The only downside was the beds were too hard for me

The Heel House was perfect for our short stay in the Carrboro/Chapel Hill area. Located in a quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants and eateries. Home was nice and clean, TVs in all rooms and comfortable. Hosts Clay and Angie were great and responded quickly to the reservation request.

The Heel House was cozy and comfortable for our family during our stay. The house is equipped with everything you would need. The neighborhood was quiet and the owner was very communicative.
This home was perfect for my son and I when we came to visit Chapel Hill to tour UNC and some other nearby campuses, as he starts to make decisions about college. The location was perfect: walkable to great shops/restaurants in Carrboro, basically adjacent to West Franklin Street, and a short drive to the UNC campus. It was extremely comfortable, kept immaculately clean, and had all the little touches that made it feel like we were staying at home for the week. We'll come back here anytime we get back to UNC,
We rented the house for my daughter to do a college tour of UNC. The house is in a great location walkable to many places. We felt safe in the neighborhood and the little house was very cozy. Everything we needed was available and the check in was very easy and quick. The owners were always responsive and friendly. While we were there we had an unexpected medical emergency and the owners were kind enough to offer us an extra night at a discounted price if needed. We would book here again.
Not familiar to the area, but needed to travel for a friend wedding. Location, house, and host all exceeded expectations for our long weekend visit. Our pet is not travel friendly, so we left him behind, but the house gave pet friendly vibes without overdoing it either. Very clean and user friendly. Not sure if we'll be traveling to the area again, but would definitely look this one up again if we are.

It means a lot to know the home felt welcoming and clean for you. If your travels ever bring you back to the area, we’d be delighted to host you again. Best wishes!
My mom and I stayed at the house for a long weekend to attend the football spring game. The house was clean and the kitchen well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The house is in a great location. We walked to Keenan Stadium so we avoided having to find parking. It was a great walk. We also walked to Franklin street a few times. I will 100% stay here again!

Jess! This is an awesome review. Thank you so much! We'd love to have ya'll back!
Location is great and everything about the property was fine. But I have three complaints.First, we brought our dog but until you see the notebook in the house, with the house rules, we were unaware that the owners expected our dog to be crated if she was to be left alone. Without explicit mention on the web page, how is anyone supposed to know that they need to bring a dog crate? Pretty sure that rule is unenforceable.Second, the house notebook also states that absolutely no guests are allowed. I can understand no parties but no guests at all? So friends cannot visit? Again, this is something listed in the house notebook but no mention of this rule anywhere. Pretty sure that this is also unenforceable. Finally, the notebook includes dire warnings about being kicked out if motion sensors discover an unattended dog or if a sound meter detects volumes above some decibel level. Not creepy at all.
