Nice duplex with lots of room. Backyard could use some work including fixing the fence, but big space for my dog to run around.Host was very responsive.Would recommend.

MA family reunion

The house was good for our purposes as we had a family gathering for several days nearby so the location was perfect. The house had everything we needed. However there were no bed side lamps in the bedrooms so it was difficult to read while in bed. There were also no reading lamps in the living room area. Other than that all was good.

The neighborhood is a little dicy but we didn’t feel like we were in danger. It’s just kind of run down. The house was clean. Spacious. There are two queen beds and a twin not the queen and a full as described. Maybe they were confused because there was a full size headboard for one of the queens. 25 minutes from the Log Cabin where we had a wedding. Would have been nice if the code had been changed so my daughter could have gotten in with no hassle….oh well. All in all- not a bad experience.

Our stay was fine. The place was generally clean and had everything we needed. It is an older unit and is very plain. It’s not a warm and cozy place but it was sufficient for our stay. The oven was very dirty inside and one of the burners on the stove did not work but it did not affect our stay much. My only real complaint was with communications with the host. On the day of arrival, I never received check-in instructions. I attempted to contact the host directly without a response on the morning of checkin with no response. I then contacted VRBO who reached out to the host and co-host, and then after an hour or so I received the checkin info. That was only a few hours before checkin time. I finally received an automated check-in message and that was was the only communication I ever received. I had even texted the host directly once and did not get a response. I have never had such sparse communication with a host before and I have rented through VRBO many times before. I even sent a message with regards to the stove/oven and check-out time and info but received zero response or feedback. To be honest I felt nervous about our stay when I did not receive any welcome info or checkin info and if given the option I prob would have cancelled our stay last minute. But, it all worked out okay. We did not have difficulty with the place once we got in and it suited our needs fine. Hopefully the communication improves for future renters though.
