Very Disappointed
Had to call property owner to get into unit as 2 of codes were incorrect; dead bolt lock was tricky. E/mailed owner about ceiling fan not working as grands are used to ceiling fan to help them sleep. Owner said he was out of town and could not check, but we “have air conditioning so u should keep cool.” This turned out not to be the case. We eventually set a/c down very low as it would not get above 76 in unit. Did not call owner about this as we never got resolution to ceiling fan situation and it was not THAT hot yet, unit is extremely outdated and needs a complete update! Felt rugs and tile floors were dirty (sticky) and there was oily film on wood surfaces. No cleaning supplies (laundry detergent, dishwashing powder, trash bags). Electrical plugs would not stay in outlets and had to constantly “jiggle” them to get them to reconnect. There was no heated pool, only the hot tub which, by definition, is heated, but pools were both extremely cold. HOA rules said pool and hot tub were open 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., but my son-in-law, grandchildren and I tried to walk through the pool area to take a walk on the beach at 8:50 and were told we would have to go into the garage and out of the complex to get to the beach. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and do not feel like I got the full “beach” experience except for the view which WAS excellent.
