The property had a very welcoming feel to it, with the exception of the refrigerator location wedged in by the laundry closet. That was tight and awkward. We really enjoyed the balcony, as there was daily music/entertainment at a venue two buildings over. if you didn't want that, you could close the sliding door, and it was virtually soundproof

Perfect location

We enjoyed our stay so much. Perfect location! The beach is 2 blocks away, off sale and grocery store is in walking distance. They even have a free bus to take you anywhere on the island. We would definitely stay there again.

My family and I are very happy with our stay. Everything was perfect the only thing that needed fixing was the handle on the master bedroom toilet. We did outlet best to tighten it and no broom so I bought one hope they can use. Other then that everything else was amazing and we loved our stay. We definitely will be back. Thank you!

Smells like Mildew. Dirty. Don't recommend

Walk in and the instant odor of mildew was terrible. I mean TERRIBLE. Carpets were filthy. Looks like they've never been cleaned. Kitchen had ants everywhere. TV cabinet in the living area rattled every time someone was walking inside. Tried to ask for early check-in and OJ was quite rude. Yes or No answer would have sufficed. But I got to hear him complain about past tenants to justify a simple no. Outside deck was falling apart with nails sticking out of the wood. All-in-all a terrible unit!

Hi Timothy, we’re sorry to hear parts of your stay didn’t meet expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- The carpets are professionally cleaned before every season. After a busy year, the homeowner has already planned to replace them with hardwood floors this winter. There is no mold in the building, but they will make sure the home is aired out so it feels fresh upon arrival.- Management has looked into the ants to determine where they are coming from, as there is no food source for them inside the home.- The TV cabinet has not rattled during normal use. The outside patio is maintained by the HOA, which has already allocated funds to replace all back decks.- Regarding the early check-in request, the homeowner was only explaining why it could not be accommodated, and being rude was never the intention.We appreciate your feedback and are always working to improve for future guests.

Nice property, little out dated...dishwaser was not working, master bath toilet handle broken. Numerous stains on the carpet. There was leftover food,(rotten) more than likely from the previous guest. Property management probably should check behind the cleaning crew and make sure they're cleaning thoroughly. ***Positives ***Great location, great communication from managment. A.C. cold!!! Wifi, with streaming services. Clean linens...just a 5 min walk to the beach. Numerous places to eat and bars. A lot of kid activities nearby. Thank you to Cynthia Garcia for mailing my wifes wallet back to us. Most definitely would book again. Also, WE SURVIVED TROPICAL STORM ALBERTO!!!

The code to enter did not work. Once we got the key we found that the unit had not been cleaned. We could not get in until 9pm. There were no batteries in the tv remote. One of the toilet handles was hanging off and we had to fix it. There were no bath mats. The towels were brand new and never been washed. They left white fuzz all over us when we dried off. The kitchen did not have any storage containers for storing leftovers. The dishwasher did not work and noone came to fix it. The light over the dining room table did not work. There was a rolled up rug on the balcony that we had to wrestle out of the way to be able to move chairs. Overall the unit needs a deep clean.

Weekend getaway

It was a nice condo to stay, I would had preferred to have a downstairs but my daughter didn’t request this accommodation and if it was available. Overall very confortable. However, for maintenance, there were few things that need attention. *new light bulbs in dining room light fixture & light fixture at bar, Toilet paper holder need re-attach to wall, sliding door inside in bath shower off the rail., toilet tank handle or chain doesn’t allow to fill up with water, Broken window blind in bedroom. A hair blower will be appreciated..for us women. Thank you for allowing to us to stay. Will be using this condo again in the near future. Ofelia Lopez

Easily accessible to the beach. Cute area and gay bar is right next door. Located upstairs with only stair accessibility. Taking heavy ice chest and luggage was difficult. Smelled a little funky upon entering. Had to wash the sheets myself before relaxing with my own laundry pods I took. It’s a bit overpriced with a cleaning fee and we had instructions to take out our own trash. Grill accessible but descriptions didn’t specify. Upon getting there, it specified that it’s only gas, not charcoal. Pet fee is ridiculous, plus trained emotional support animals weren’t accept as service animals. Overall, it was nice. Just wished they specified more in their details and had a better price.

I had rented this condo in February for my family’s spring break (March) and was very upset with the whole process. When I booked, I had emailed the property management company to ask them a question and never heard back from them. When we were leaving to head down to South Padre Island, I still hadn’t received the code in order to get into the condo. It took over four hours of communication via email and phone calls to finally receive a code to get into the condo, 40 minutes after our check-in. When we walked into the condo it was warm, stale and smelled rotten. Apparently the last people that were there decided to leave the condo dirty and the property management company never had a cleaning crew come in. We were left with rotten food in the fridge, dishes in the sink, trash that was smelling up the condo, flowers that had died and trash around. When I received the code, they had a number that was left for me if I had any problems, I was told that they didn’t know that I was renting at that time. They did offer to clean the condo, but this would have taken more time of our vacation and all we wanted to do is rest when we got in. After another hour of having to describe and email with pictures of what we had walked into, and dealing with that property management companies claim department (The lady I spoke with wanted me to cancel our stay, which would have given them our money and we would’ve lost it, was rude like what I was saying wasn’t true. Thank God I did take pictures because we did receive an apology and a full refund. The condo itself is slightly outdated, but I beautiful location of South Padre Island. I hope that the property management company learns better communication with not only the renters but with themselves also.

The property was pet friendly, and we brought our dog. There were places nearby to walk the dog, and good pet-friendly restaurants. The condo was clean, well-appointed, and in good repair. We were one block from the beach, with ample food choices within walking distance. Even though there is much partying going on in Padre, the condo itself is quiet and comfortable.

Nice place off the beach

This place is large and well accommodated. It is nice inside. I would think up to 3 couples could stay comfortably. The only downside is that you have to navigate stairs to get to it, however because its on the second floor you have vaulted ceilings which adds to the openness. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk away. I'll probably stay there again.

We had a great experience with this condo. This is our 8th stay on the island and this is by far our favourite! The condo is clean and the location is perfect. The pool is large enough to play and have fun.

Huge Disappointment

We arrived on a Sunday, the same afternoon we called the phone number listed as "our designated Guest Contact", whom according to the online listing is available 24/7 to help with any issues that arise at the condo. Well, none of our issues were addressed. We had no light in the living room, the dinning room, or the master closet. The toilet in the master bathroom didn't flush properly. The online listing of this condo says: "TVs with cable in every room for your entertainment", but there is no TV cable in the guest bedroom. "Icemaker", the fridge icemaker doesn't work. We chose to rent that condo for our vacation because we like to grill outside, but the "gas grill on the patio" was extremely dirty and does not work. We were told we would get a reimbursement for the inconviniences we had but that didn't happen. We don't think we were taken very seriously. We will never rent this place again and would never recommend it to anyone. Awful property management.

We understand that the local property manager was responsive to all of your concerns, and the homeowner had made sure that each issue has been resolved for their upcoming guests. The owner would also like to clarify that all of the lights were working during your stay - each light is connected to a dimmer switch, and it looks like they just weren't adjusted to a brighter setting. The owner had recently switched to a new cable company before your reservation, and they did not realize that the new technician had only replaced one of the cable boxes. They have since installed more boxes so that each TV once again has cable. The building management had disabled all ice makers due to a leak in another part of the building, and the owner is working with a plumber to run a separate line to their ice maker so that this will situation will not reoccur. They have also had the grill thoroughly cleaned. We apologize for any delay in processing your reimbursement, and we are confident that future travelers will be able to enjoy the 5-star service that the owner and their local team are known for!
