The house was very clean and perfect for our small group. We were definitely impressed that there were window ac units for our use as well as air purifiers. The house is a steal for the price we paid and hosts were quick to respond. I definitely recommend staying here.
Great location at the base of the Bumble town hill, Calumet waterworks, and your on the way out to Eagle river and Copper Harbor. Great communication from the hosts, Clean house with a nice view of the surrounding woods. The only thing to consider is if you're over 6 foot, the climb upstairs is a bit tight. Otherwise a great stay
Great place to stay. Very clean, the owners were easy to communicate with if needed, and the bed in the master was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was newly remodeled. I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and comfortable home. Responded very quickly when contacted. Location was convenient to everything I needed. Thank you very much
Extremely clean, quiet and functional property! We would recommend some bedside lamps, a living room lamp for reading, more microwave safe dishes (ceramic or glass) such as bowls.

Thank you for the kind words! We’re really glad to hear you found the property clean, quiet, and comfortable. 😊
We appreciate the helpful suggestions as well. For future reference, all of the dishes provided are microwave safe, but we understand that having additional ceramic or glass bowls could be helpful and we’ll certainly take that into consideration. We’ll also look into adding some additional bedside and living room lighting to make reading more comfortable.
Thanks again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your feedback, we hope to welcome you back again! 🏡

The home had everything we neeeded to stay 4 nights, even had enough driveway room for a truck and 4 place snowmobile trailer. Perfectly located to ride right to trail 3 and get anywhere we wanted on the sleds. Definitely worth it.
We enjoyed our quick trip to the Keweenaw to move our sons into Tech. Such a fun place to stay. Loved the charm and character. Would definitely stay again. This is the perfect home base for easily exploring all of the Keweenaw.
House was very clean, and had everything we needed. The interactions with the hosts were friendly and informative. The location was perfect for "base camp"! We had a great time, and we'd stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Hosts were responsive and helpful, the house was exactly as pictured, we truly have no complaints! We stayed for a snowmobile trip and the trails were close by as well as a gas station and a couple spots to eat.
We had such a wonderful stay here! The house was very clean, the kitchen and bathroom was stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable! As others have stated, taller guests may find themselves practicing their best ducking abilities when using the shower and stairs, but it's an older house! That's part of the charm! We would gladly stay again!
The location of this property was perfect for our family vacation. (Family of six) We visited nearby beaches and explored area attractions without having to drive far. The house is also at the end of a quiet street so that was nice as well. It was a great getaway!A few things that could have taken it from a 4/5 to a 5/5 rating were just a few minor inconveniences. (yet still worth mentioning.) The laundry is located in the basement and you have to walk down a very narrow stairway. My husband and I are very tall so it was not easy to get down to the basement. He is 6’3” and I am 6’0 for reference) Fortunately, our young children were eager to help. The stairway in the upstairs was also pretty low in one spot, but not too bad. The height of the shower head is also a little lower than most, but that again, is a tall person problem! The kitchen utensils and coffee maker could use an upgrade, but everything was still functional and clean! We could have used a few more bowls for prepping food, as well as aluminum foil, ziplock bags, etc. I know some places have that available and some don’t. Just a heads up if you’re not planning to purchase those ahead of time. The hosts were great communicators and very friendly! They were quick to respond when I mentioned that the handle on the grill was falling off. He mentioned it would be fixed asap. We did not use the firepit or chairs, but I’m sure they are lovely! It’s a very clean property with new appliances and a nice bathroom!
This was such a great central location for our visit to the Keweenaw! Everything was as expected and the hosts were quick to respond whenever I contacted them with a question. Nice sized yard for my pups!
The house was the perfect location for our up north adventures around the Keweenaw Peninsula. Very clean and hosts were quick to respond. The kitchen was stocked with cooking items (pans, utensils, ect.) that made making dinner each night a breeze. Had all the comfort of being away from home.
We had a small group vacation to mount bohemia and this location served us very well. The kitchen was shocked with almost everything you could need for cooking and preparing meals. The beds are quite comfortable. Certainly would stay here again!
