There certainly isn’t a crowd at Ocean Pearl in St. Augustine Beach. With three floors, four bedrooms, and two additional sleeper sofas, this beachfront house can sleep up to thirteen people with ease, making it ideal for a multi-family vacation, a wedding party, or a school reunion.
Although the house was recently updated and professionally decorated by the owner, who has an interior-design background, sandy feet, and wet swimsuits are definitely allowed. That’s a good thing, given that in addition to overlooking Crescent Beach—there’s even a private walkway to its white sands—Ocean Pearl has its own in-ground pool. You can catch some ocean waves in the morning, then enjoy a luxurious swim in privacy at night. Perfection!
In addition to the roomy patio surrounding the pool, Ocean Pearl has decks spanning the front of the house on both the second and third floors. There you can relish the fresh ocean breeze while enjoying a drink and watch seabirds and surfers alike on the beach; the house is in fact located just off a popular surfing spot, so don’t forget your board.
Of course, you can savor the ocean views from inside as well. The open-plan third floor has a wealth of windows as well as a spacious living room with roomy couches (one of which converts to a bed for one) and a 50” HDTV. Adjacent is a dining area and an open kitchen with a breakfast bar. You can serve the kids at the breakfast bar before joining the adults at the dining table—a setup certain to make everyone happy. With its sparkling appliances and gleaming counters, the fully equipped kitchen will make anyone who enjoys cooking happily as well. There’s grocery shopping nearby, so feel free to stock up on all the food you’ll need for your stay; there’s plenty of room in the fridge, the freezer, and the cabinets to store it all.
