House was just as described! Very close to the beaches and National Seashore so it provided a perfect “home base” for our stay. Kitchen was perfect for breakfast and meals (although we chose to explore local restaurants most nights). Open, roomy upstairs and plenty of outdoor deck/porch space to enjoy the evening and morning breezes.
We loved our Wellfleet visit at this charming, rustic home a few miles from downtown and short walk to gorgeous marshes, protected wildlife areas and a small stunning beach. We enjoyed reading on the screened porch surrounded by trees rustling in the wind, mornings and afternoons. It feels like a well kept secret which we all enjoyed immensely and the owner was friendly, responsive and accommodating.
Over all good, however the place is over priced for what it is. Says sleep 6 but it is 5 befs . Two towels for 6. Could not operate the tv ( need code?) very humid downstairs (no air conditioning). Do not lock bottom door knob you could looked out

Thanks for your feedback, Dan. There are 6 beds with capacity to sleep 8 people assuming there are two couples: 1 queen room, 2 twin room, 2 twin trundle room, and 1 queen pullout couch in the living room. Regarding the towels, we try our best to keep them stocked! I apologize for the shortage. Perhaps this time the other towels were being laundered offsite (despite having a washing machine in the house), which we have to do in order to accommodate check out/in on the same day. Thanks for your feedback!
