Cute small cabin on a nice wooded property in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a relaxing simple getaway. My daughter loved the kids fort and playing in the backyard, swinging on the provided hammock, and we enjoyed just sitting on the elevated back deck as a family. Loved that it was pet friendly so we could bring our pup. Keep in mind since it is a small space there aren’t a ton of surfaces to place your items, but we made it work. We stayed at the cabin the whole visit and had a great time. But there are also fun things nearby that we’d do as our kids get a bit older like the Wolf Center and Fossil Beds.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this charming, cozy cabin. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into every detail. Surrounded by trees, it is quiet and relaxing. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

Perfect cabin!

This cabin charmed us the moment we arrived. Its location, and views were fabulous! It’s far enough out, but also close enough to town for just the right balance. Every little detail was considered by the host, and the cabin was clean and well stocked. We especially appreciated how dog friendly the property was. We enjoyed our stay, and hope to be back!

We had the best time at Whimsical Dreams! We were in town visiting family, so my only complaint was that we didn’t get to spend as much time as I would have liked at this charming cabin! Everything was perfection. First of all, it was adorable and very clean. Secondly, there was plenty of fun things for our kids to do. They loved getting to hang out in the kids fort. The view was so peaceful and you really had to look to see neighbors when you were on the back porch. The bed in the primary bedroom was so comfortable and my kids loved the kids bedroom. The check in process was very easy, and the host was very responsive to messages. I would recommend this cabin to anyone staying in the Florissant area, and would love staying here again if we are ever back for a visit.
