Cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 1 child. Cottage sits in a peaceful Stinson hillside neighborhood with views of Ocean and Mt. Tam foothills from front porch, master bedroom and large backyard deck - Easy drive to Muir Woods, Audubon Canyon Ranch, Bolinas, Point Reyes National Seashore and Tomales Bay!

Lovely vacation home in Stinson Beach

This sweet house was a perfect home base for 4 hikers — a few blocks away from the Matt Davis/Dipsea trailhead, and easy access to Pt. Reyes National Seashore. Shell Cottage is very welcoming, comfortable, and dog friendly. Thanks for a great stay!

My friends and I greatly enjoyed this stay. The porch has sweeping ocean views to enjoy for sunsets or coffee in the morning. Because we stayed in the winter, having a fireplace and cozy central gathering place was a huge plus.

Beautiful cottage by the beach

Overall lovely weekend getaway by the beach. Communication was slow with owners but we didnt have issues. The home has limited supplies, only large towels but overall great stay! Thank you!

We had a small view of the ocean. The place was very well equipped in kitchen. Back yard and fenced deck were great for our daughter’s dog. Couch had sitting room for all five of us. All beds were very comfortable. The walk to the beach was a little longer and steeper than anticipated, and a half bath would have been nice, but neither of those slight negatives would keep us from renting Shell Cottage again. Would recommend! Charming!
