Great location for fishermen and bike riders. So many bike trails with great views and such great flylfishing. Such a pretty town and other cute towns nearby. Beds were very comfortable and I have a bad back. You may even get to see eagles. On our float trips we saw three eagles nests and several eagles.

Wow, I want to see an Eagles nest! That’s really neat! We hope to have you back again Doug.
Had a great time here with my family of 5, including twin toddlers. Plenty of space and even had a children's play room stocked with toys that the kids loved!

Thank you Dori, we couldn’t have asked for better guests!
We had a great stay at Pauline's place. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials and there was a good amount of DVDs, games, chess board, fire pit and more. It was just he 2 of us and the upstairs kings size bed was very comfortable! We would stay again!
Great location for anyone who likes to bike or fish. A very quaint town with a great deli!! We were fisherman and had three great days of fishing local waters. Nearby restaurants--favorite was in Harmony--a cute town 10 miles away--Estelle's. This small home fit our needs very well. Planning on returning.
Everything was great! No problems with anything. Cute place with everything you need. Awesome setting in a quaint little town with SO MUCH to do!! We were in town for a family wedding so definitely coming back when we have more free time!
The house was perfect for what we needed. We were in the area for biking and Preston has access to great trails. The house was very clean and well organized. It has vintage furniture that we liked and it is nicely decorated.
We had a fantastic stay, really appreciated the proximity to all sorts of fun family activities - we did the Mystery Cave Scenic Tour, our own Amish country driving tour (courtesy of the host supplied map), biked a ton, went to the community pool, did a few of the "nine hole" fishing spots in Preston (stop by Curt's and/or Driftless Flying Fishing for tips), and went for a tube float down the Root River with Root River Outfitters. House was clean, well supplied and in a great location. Host was very responsive and helpful. Excellent family getaway!

Thank you! What a nice family to host! Couldn’t ask for better guests!! Great communication and left the house tidy! Thank you again Elizabeth!
We enjoyed our holiday weekend stay in this comfortable, charming home that is centrally located to Lanesboro area activities. Exceptionally clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a long stay. Activities we especially enjoyed were Mystery Cave State Park and Estelle’s Eatery in Harmony. Highly recommend to those visiting the area.
The four adults were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of the property! The neighbors were nice. The back yard was spacious and had all the comforts of home. Easy location to get to the bike trail. You couldn’t ask for a better place! We are hoping to be back with other guests.
Very nice property conveniently located close to many local attractions. We've loved the bicycle trails, Preston and Lanesboro and found very friendly folks everywhere we went. We'll be back.

We were looking for a place at the last minute to spend a weekend in the Lanesboro area for some quality fall gravel bike rides. This little house in Preston was perfect for us. Very comfortable and an easy (and scenic) drive to Lanesboro for biking and access to the great restaurants there.
Everything about our stay was great! We were in town for a wedding. Cute and cozy house with plenty of space and super conveniently located. Nothing I would change!
Pauline was very kid and helpful the was clean cozy. It was a great Location for the funneral we had to tend to. I alos live all the bored games great safe family atopmshere
Better than the listing. Super clean. Great location for going fishing. Could use a decent bread knife. Few by of the windows open. Mattress topper on king upstairs is way too soft. Nicely decorated. 5 out of 5 with some minor adjustments.
Home was very clean and nice. Kitchen had everything we needed to make some simple meals. Toy room upstairs was a nice touch. My kids are teenagers but they still enjoyed looking through the toys and playing some of the games. Location was convenient with many local businesses within walking distance We enjoyed the nearby bowling alley for reasonably priced food, drinks, and bowling. The nearby community swimming pool was great for cooling off after a hot day. Host was responsive when we had questions. Niagara Cave, Mystery Cave, and downtown Lanesboro were some other nearby attractions we enjoyed.

About the host
Hosted by Pauline
My husband is retired from the USAF. Now we love hosting our cozy house in Preston. It’s such a relaxing place with lots of outdoor fun too.
Why they chose this property
We like that there is a bowling alley and on Sundays bowling is just a dollar a game. The food is good at the bar grill there too. The Grocery store is walking distance and has everything you would want to have including a bakery and coffee. We like going to Harmony and taking the Amish tour. You can meet the Amish and see the culture they live in.
What makes this property unique
We made sure that the beds are very comfortable. There is a variety of DVD’s at the end of the day to watch a movie. It is a 1950 updated house, but still has the charm. It is a quiet neighborhood.
