Newly renovated lower level in the heart of Preston. 2 bedrooms, living area with private entrance.TV/Netflix. Fridge, microwave,coffee pot and toaster. Garage for bikes, snowmobiles!

Perfect for wedding guests,&concert goers. So much to see and do in SE Minnesota! Biking,Fishing,Hiking and Golf. Lanesboro is 6 miles away. Across the street from Branding Iron Supper Club. Feel free to use garage space for bikes as well. Forestville State Park 15 mn away!Perfect for snowmobiling with a heated garage you are welcome to use. I really try to be accommodating, so message me with any last minute reservations and I will see if Ican make it work!

Very Nice Place!

We were needing a place to stay in the area for business. This place was the only thing available at the time and ended up being a great place to stay. The Host was very easy to work with and very welcoming.

Fabulous getaway❤️❤️❤️

This was a fabulous weekend stay! When we walked in the door, Lori left these huge Halloween buckets full of delicious treats for my kids! Then my husband and I were supposed with gourmet cookies!!! We felt so welcomed! The fridge was stocked with water and sparkling water and plenty of coffee to keep us caffeinated all weekend! It Smelled wonderful when we walked In and decor was Pinterest amazing! Plenty of books and magazines and activities listed for us to do for the weekend! There was also kid art supplies and options, it was awesome! We decided on going tandem biking for one afternoon in Lansboro, went to Nightmare acres on Sat night for free (haunted houses at the fairgrounds) and the free drive in haunted movie in Harmony. Ample room for board games and beds were SO comfortable, haven’t slept that well in a long time! My kids both loved it!! They both kept telling me how much they loved it there! Honestly I can’t say enough about this place ❤️ Great communication with Lori, she was amazing to talk to and so helpful and extra kind!!

Fall Getaway

This was our first time visiting the Preston/Lanesboro area and Lori's place was just perfect. The unit was clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. Some sweet goodies awaited us when we arrived, which was an unexpected but appreciated surprise. It was conveniently located for getting to bike trails in the area. We hope to return again next fall!

Stay at Root River Retreat

A friend and I stayed here to spend some time in this part of the state. Just beautiful area. Staying at the Root River Retreat was just great. Very well furnished from the furniture to the beds to the treats Lori put out. Lori was very responsive to any questions we had. There were so many extras in the place, things you might not think of but they were there when you needed them. The place is very easy to find and located in a good spot for exploring the area. I would definitely stay here again.
