Charming, 2 bedroom home on the Root River Bike Trail in Whalan
They Cyclin-Inn house, located in rural Whalan, This turn of the century house is well equipped with all of your vacation home needs. It is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom house, Located on the Root River State bike trail on the edge of Whalan. A wonderful deck in the front of the house, and if you prefer, there is a cement patio between the house and the garage, a great place to eat in the shade of the evening.Here you will find plenty of green space and a great view of the night sky.
Within 5 minutes drive to Lanesboro, you will find Sylvan's brewery, the Commonweal theatre, shopping and several restaurants/bars. The river is just on the other side of the bike trail, less than a block to the river. On the river, you can enjoy tubing, kayaking, or canoeing. It is a stocked trout stream, so you can even enjoy guided fishing tours. This area has a few Amish communities, that you can explore too. On the Root River State Bicycle trail, you will enjoy 62 miles of paved cycling experience. There are plenty of hiking trails too!
