About the host
Hosted by Leah Baker
I'm a native North Carolinian but lived in California for 17 years where a love of adventure and being out in nature really took hold. River rafting, hiking, biking, swimming, horseback riding are some of my favorite things.
Why they chose this property
My sister who lives next door, and myself bought this land in 1981. After living out west we both decided WNC with all it's rich green beauty was the place to call home.
What makes this property unique
Custom built in 2007, it's a culmination of home design elements that makes sense to me. Radiant floor heat, South facing for the best light, a beautiful pastoral view while tucked up against the hillside makes it feel sheltered from the nor'easter storms.
