Had a wonderful first time in Maine... the cottage was so cute and quirky... well appointed and clean!! Property manager was quick to respond and very informative!!! Would definitely recommend!!!
Beautiful cottage minutes away from Acadia park entrance and Bar Harbor
We stayed here for 4 nights. The hosts were great and provided everything we needed including firewood for a bonfire. The hosts were easy to communicate with as their house is right next to the cottage. The cottage was clean and very charming. The yard overlooks the ocean and was a lovely place to hang out. We would definitely return if we ever visit the park again!
My fiancé, our dog and I had a great time at the cottage. We enjoyed the views of the bay and watching the seals throughout the day! Jeremy and Brent were really kind and communicative. This was about a 15 minute drive from Bar Harbor village center and an entrance to Acadia. It’s a 5 min drive from the Bar Harbor Lobster Pound where we had the best lobster rolls of the trip!
This was my husband's first time visiting Maine and this sweet little cottage absolutely added to the experience. The views are spectacular. Make sure you bring binoculars so that you can watch the seals catch fish and play out in the water. We loved the quiet solitude that this cottage brings. The location is ideal, just a short drive to pretty much anywhere you might want to travel to. We also loved being able to sleep with the windows open; something we cannot do living in Maryland.
We both will be looking forward to our next trip up and hopefully stay there again. Thank you!

Not for us. Left within and Hour to seek other accommodations
We had booked this property for 4 days. I didn't do enough research on this house. It was not for us at all. Very shabby and would not stand up to any structural inspection. There is about a 3" slope to the kitchen floor. The rafters in the ceiling have been cut to take the bind off the floor. The couch & chairs looks like it needs to go back to the dump where it came from. There was nothing comfortable at this property. Beds are uncomfortable. Furniture is uncomfortable and may have things living in it. Ticks abound. We found a few crawling across the floor. We left about an hour after we arrived because we could not bear to stay here. It looked like where a slasher movie would take place. We stayed at a beautiful resort in Bar Harbor instead that had room service and comfortable beds and no bugs. The owner should really be ashamed of themselves for trying to charge people to stay here. It really should be torn down, or his kids could use it as a play house. It is not appropriate to be on a home rental site at all. I did let the owner know that we left and would not staying there largely do to the large slope of the floor & my husband's issue with vertigo. The slope made him very dizzy. They were
Not willing to give us an acceptable refund and were more concerned that they had already had to pay fees to VRBO than do right by us. We are seniors and we're looking for comfort! This is anything but.
