It’s my own property that I personally manage. This 1-bedroom, 1-bath Panama City Beach retreat offers a sweeping view of the sugar-white sands below and a front-row seat to mesmerizing sunsets over the Gulf from your own balcony on the 20th floor.
We're a mile from the popular and famous Pier Park. Located in a great location for family activities and fun. Walking distance to parks, zoos, racetracks, aquariums and restaurants. Next door to a beach front bar and grill that you'll actually enjoy going to! Great food and drink specials year round with beach front indoor and outdoor seating.

These outdated items are going to be replaced during this off season. I wish my guests treat my unit as their homes as it is not nice to wipe makeup and stains everywhere.

There is very little lighting in the condo, mattress on pull out bed in living room was beyond awful. Not able to sleep on it at all. Overall the room needs work. Mold in bathroom around shower.

While the ceiling fan does not have lights, there are two desk lamps in living room and two desk lamps in bedroom. 6 ceiling lights in hallway and 3 ceiling lights in kitchen. I will check the pull out sofa bed and caulking the bathroom if needed. My previous group of guests of 6 and other guests didn’t report any issues and this is first time brought to my attention.

The location was beautiful . The resort was clean and the staff was very nice . The beach and pools were great ! Everything was within walking distance or a short ride that we wanted to do. We didn’t get to spend much time in the water at the beach because the water was too hazardous , but the beach was beautiful and clean . The resort is located on the beach . We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Condo accessability

I've stayed in many condos on various beaches. I didn't like parking in the parking garage, then finding a cart to take luggage and groceries to the unit across the breezeway. Very complicated. The unit was nice, very clean and had a terrific view of the ocean.

Free Luggage service and valet parking are provided, just park your car in the front door and someone will help you unload your luggage and park your car. There is no need to take the cart across the breezeway.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Emerald Beach Resort. The facility is large with many amenities that we used daily. Pools are great and the whole resort was clean. The elevator system sucks and they weren’t all working when we were there. The room was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. It definitely needs some TLC and updating. Could use some new flooring, furniture, paint, etc. to make it feel more homey and more like a beach front condo. You can also hear the neighbors through the living room connecting door which we hated. Overall our stay was nice, no issues and we would stay again.

Week long stay for daughter’s dance competition

We were very surprised by how easy the entire process was! The host provided all the information up front and there was no need to reach out about anything! The condo was great, the location and view were amazing and it was overall very pleasant and relaxing! The resort had extra amenities like a gym, sky bar with ice cream and food, the kiddie pool was a great place for the littles when the beach had a double red flag. You are across the street from a little convenience store and a seafood takeout restaurant that has amazing crab legs! We were close to the convention center, Pier park, and all the places we wanted to visit! We plan to return! Thank you so much for making this a great family trip!

Mini Vacation

I choose this room due to the price and it being a last minute trip. We had just been down two months before. The room had everything needed to make a comfortable trip. Kitchen was fully stocked. I personally wouldn't put no more than 4 people in the room but it will sleep 6. I had emailed the owner after being there two nights. His response was within 5mins which I wasn't expecting until the next morning. Emerald itself is an awesome place to stay. We love the pools for the kids. Book the room you won't regret it!

No problems with elevators, check in or bed not being comfortable. Communication with manager was excellent. Toilet didn't want to flush sometimes. Could use more nonstick pans and a new cookie sheet. Couch and chair were not comfortable. View is very nice with floor to ceiling windows the length of the room. Within walking distance to Sharkeys and resort has a Starbucks. Zollo pizza across the street that has good pizza.

The unit was clean and described accurately. The balcony had a wonderful view of the ocean. The resort had 2 different sets of elevators, a little learning curve there. Staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. The parking garage was kind of a pain but unavoidable with such a large resort. The pools were awesome, my kids would rather be in the children's pool than the beach. The owner was helpful and prompt, had some trouble with code at the front door (my fault) and called him late on a weeknight and had a return call within seconds. For the price the unit is a great valve would recommend to anyone.

Very nice condo

We stayed here in late February and found the condo very clean and convenient. Elevator wait times were not an issue at all and parking was easy and convenient. There are a few nice restaurants in easy walking distance and many more a short drive away. The only issue was that the wifi stopped working on the 2nd day. The owner did work with us abut to resolve this but it was never fixed. We were still able to use a wired connection however. This is a nice area for a relaxing vacation but not much to do outside of a nice state park that's fairly close.

wifi issue was fixed, my next guests were able to use the wifi, i have purchased an newer and faster router will install next week. There are lots of attractions near by, to name a few, Shipwreck Island Water Park, Zoo World, Gulf World,Ripley’s Museum, various miniature golf, go carts, arcades, and batting cages all along Front Beach Road.

Don't think we will rent there again

No ice maker, no sheets for the pull out, stove vent was unusable, food behind garbage can, dishwasher had to be run twice for the same dishes because it wouldn't clean them on the first run, lock code wouldn't work properly. I have to admit though that owner was extremely quick to answer emails, especially when we were locked out of room. I don't see us renting this property again.

This is the first time I heard about the issues, I wished I was contacted while you were there. The access code won't work before the check in time. The check in time is 3pm not 2pm. I don't have any guests complaining to me in August.

We have rented from vrbo many times. The view was nice and the condo itself is very spacious. Our biggest complaint was the cleanliness. The couch was stained and had a sour smell. The bedroom sheets had hair all over them when we pulled the comforter back. The pillowcases looked as if they had not been changed. The shower curtain was very dirty and needed washing. The kitchen floor was sticky.It looked like a rush touch n go Job on the cleaning but overall it was a good price and nice condo. We probably won't rent this one again though

I never had any complains like this, and I spoke to several my past customers including a couple stay afterward, they all express that my unit is clean and wonderful. However, I did emphasis with my cleaning company about this complain. I am also planning to have the carpet and some furniture replaced this winter.

ELEVATOR hell and security refund nightmare

Besides having to get on at least 3 different elevators just to get too your room, it was awful to load/unload. The toilet is made for a midget, but the shower stall is so tall and there are No handles to help you in and out. Very dangerous!! Owner is non communicative when it comes time for your security deposit to be returned. He tells you to contact VRBO, they say differently. After 14 days, I’m still awaiting my deposit to be returned. WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!

VRBO handles the security refunds, it takes a few days after I submitted no damage report. The renovation of the elevators are completed and there are 8 elevators in the building.

Emerald beach resort

The hotel/ property was beautiful but This unit was very disappointing. There were several issues including.. the front door would not lock properly and the door jam was held together by 35 screws, the ceiling had water damage in multiple places, the bedroom door to the master room would not close properly or lock, maintenance came into our room several times while we were not there, there was a blood or red stain all over one of the comforter to the bunk beds, the pull out couch was broken. The owner tried to tell me that their was a stain on one of the comforter after I checked out and I have pics the stain was already there prior to us checking in. His cleaning service is absolute garbage they did not clean anything. When I contacted the owner of some of these issues - his response was I am aware and plan on trying to fix them in the up coming weeks… my question is why would you continue to rent your unit out knowing there are several issues wrong with it. Why not give me my money back and let me know the unit needed repair instead of letting us come. Very disappointed and false advertisement. Will not stay back in this unit Pictures are worth a thousand words if I could upload pics I would. Just beware and hopefully the owner fixes the issues.

I never had any issues with guests and cleaner. I always notify my guests if HOA staff needs to come inside, HOA notified me that my AC condenser was dripping , it damaged lower unit. They found out that the AC was lowered to 60. No other person has code to access my unit while my unit is occupied. Sofa bed is a little hard to pull out since it was sit down to the frame. My unit was left with lots of sand everywhere and trash like a mountain. It is not very nice not to treat my unit as your own. I tried my best to satisfy my guest's need even to pay my cleaner extra to make sure you can check in several hours earlier.

We love the morning walks on the peaceful beach. We also love the Starbucks Coffee and muffins that are always waiting for us on site.
The valet parking is great after a day of fun!!

Panama City Beach has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Our resort is within 1.5 miles of beautiful Pier Park and all of its great places to eat and shop. We have a new international airport only a few minutes away. There are lots of fun things to do here. Our favorite thing though is to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves and enjoy the beautiful view.
