We thoroughly enjoyed our mom’s and kids getaway! The house was the perfect location and had everything we needed. It was clean, up to date and well stocked!
This house was awesome! Amanda was very responsive from start to finish which is always helpful when we needed questions answered. The house had everything we needed and was in a prime location.
Amazing place to stay! We were 3 families with kids, and this was the perfect place to rest after skiing. The basement is huge and the kids stayed down there playing with the toys and watching TV. The kitchen/dining/living room area was much larger than it looks in the pictures. We appreciated having the ability to cook nice meals and eat at the big dining table. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfy and hot tub was great! We will definitely be back next season!
We had a wonderful stay at the Base Camp Retreat in August 2025. The house was beautiful, the setting was serene and there plenty to do for our family age 1 through age 83. We would definitely stay there again!
This is a great house, very clean and perfect location. Amanda was a great host and super accommodating and responsive! We will be booking for next season! Great family house, stayed with 3 families!
We had an incredible time. The house was spacious and clean. 5 minute drive to killington resort was very convenient. Hosts were great. Would definitely book again
Great house and very clean. Great for kids with large game room was a hit!! location to mountain was very convenient. Being able to grill and use hot tub was enjoyable for all.
Amanda's home was perfect for our group for a long weekend. Large bedrooms, high ceilings, plenty of seating, parking and a spotless home. Great location to the mountain, all local bars and restaurants with and even free bus / shuttle access to some. 10/10 would recommend!
We stayed for 3 nights with extended family. There was plenty of room for the 9 of us and the proximity to Killington was perfect. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and there is plenty of room to spread out for teens and adults.
The house was great, well appointed and comfy. Location was excellent. House is very new and clean. Hot tub was awesome, plenty of towels. Kitchen had everything we needed. My only critique would be the seating. Downstairs could've used a couch so that the kids had a spot to hang out besides their beds. but the kids loved the downstairs area. Our 3 families were super happy with our stay!
I was not able to reach the host for several hours on the first day of check in because of heating issue. I need to call the customer service to get hold of them. This is the first vacation house I live in that the host asking to keep the temperature around 68 degree. I had to argue with the host to have the temperature at 73 which is still not that comfortable for the kids living in the basement. Supplies such as garbage bag and toilet paper ran out on the second day, this is also the first time I experienced it. During the argument with the host, he said the state law for the temperature is 60 which I believe should be the minimum temperature for people to survive not living comfortably. I found this is very rude.

We are sorry that this is how you felt your experience went but we had a much different experience as your host. We kindly asked that the heat not be set to 76-78 degrees as that is excessive given our home is new construction and has Radient floor heating. We felt very disrespected that you insisted the temperature be at almost 80 degrees during your stay. We would never ask guests to keep the heat at 60 degrees. 68 is our preference but we want all guest to feel comfortable and are always very accommodating. Further, we are very sad that we have to report a damage claim now that you have left. We found marker stains all over our floors and furniture, gashes in the door trim, trash was left everywhere, and most lights were left on when you departed. This unfortunately was not a good fit for our property. We have been very lucky to have amazing guests until this stay.
We had two families with five kids (ages 8 to 13) and had an amazing time at this house. The large downstairs area was a hit with everyone—it didn’t feel like a basement thanks to the tall ceilings, and the games like darts and shuffle puck kept us entertained. The open floor plan on the first floor, heated floors, and jacuzzi added to the comfort.
The bedrooms were spacious, with TVs in most of them, and everything was spotless and new. The house was close enough to Killington for convenience, though we stayed to watch the FIS Women’s World Cup and spent most of our day enjoying the property. A great bonus: there’s a perfect sledding hill right next to the house, so bring sleds if there’s snow!
Overall, it was the perfect stay with great amenities, plenty of space, and something for everyone. Highly recommend!
