This charming, fully renovated historic home is conveniently located just 1.8 miles from Downtown San Antonio. It is less than a mile from the Historic Pearl Brewery, 2.5 miles from the AT&T Center, and close to Fort Sam Houston Army Base and the Alamo.

My reservation was apparently double booked with another reservation even though I paid 5.5 months in advance to reserve. Prop. mgr told me to call "VROB" several times and wouldn't address the issue directly at first. Since the other booking was already in the house, I had to accept 2 one bedroom lower accommodations as I found out vs the nice 2 bedroom house advertised. When I arrived trash was in front of one of the units that I cleaned up before my wife noticed it as I did not ask her opinion when booking it. Wanted it to look presentable. The casita behind the main unit was pretty good but no heat which for us was fine. Fire alarm was chirping. The Unit D was only partially renovated so even lower condition and did NOT have control of the heat as it was a SAUNA inside and could also easily hear through the walls (i.e talking and microwave). Prop Mgr said she would get back to me and never did. Our friends were not comfortable to stay there even though much closer to our event and went downtown to a hotel. So then we had to shuttle them back and forth or Uber. The property mgr was friendly but not really sympathetic. I asked for consideration to be provided for the inequivalent lack of value on what I paid for but was not provided. WATCH OUT FOR THE BAIT AND SWITCH ON THIS ONE. I am not sure whose fault it was VRBO or the Venue but in the end I took it on the chin as no discount for the change in INFERIOR accommodations. 1st time VRBO experience NOT GOOD.

Es una propiedad que podría dar una estancia cómoda y placentera, pero está muy sucia , desde la entrada se ve que no han limpiado en mucho tiempo , polvo en los muebles, estantes de la cocina sucios, microondas sucio por dentro, botes de basura sucios , cabellos en la cama, en general sucio , viajè con mi familia y era incómodo estar ahí , me comuniqué con el propietario pero no accedió a revisar los he yo estaba mencionando , tuve que comprar productos de limpieza para limpiar al menos baños , camas y pisos .
