Casa Terraza at Casa Balbi

Our home offers all the comfort that you will need while visiting Monteverde. It offers a studio feel with open air bedroom style. Also offered is a wonderful deck / terraza to view the forest and stream below. The kitchen has the needed utensils and all the needed appliances to cook, a gas stove, fridge, microwave, coffee make. The tropical gardens are well kept and attract butterflies and hummingbirds, the nearby forest makes it for easy wildlife viewing and bird watching on the property.

It is a true pleasure to share our slice of paradise with travelers from all over the world since we started hosting. My father and I are living on property ( 4 acres ) and are here to answer any questions or help in any way that we can to make your stay more enjoyable.

This property is a slice of heaven in Monteverde and it just makes you take in the Cloud Forest Experience. A true jem and we are blessed ro be living here. You can take tours from Casa Balbi to the Canopy Ziplines, the Santa Elena Cloud Forest, Curi Cancha REserve, Monteverde Cloud Forest and many other trails that will lead you to magical locations that you will remember for a lifetime.

What makes this property unique

Quiet. Remote, but close enough to town. What made us fall in love with Casa Balbi was creating the Organic gardens, planting the tropical flowers, watching wildlife cross the tree tops and just being relaxed in a very quiet location. It is amazing to be in the clouds of Monteverde. You will have the opportunity to be in a magical location and fall in love as we did with Casa Balbi.
