Take a break and unwind with your family and friends at our peaceful oasis. We built this house, with two things in mind: family and sustainability. Come and enjoy our new house with wide porches and a spacious interior. Don’t be surprised if some of it looks old. We sourced as much reclaimed material as we could. When we don’t need all the space for our family and friends, we are excited to let you enjoy it.
Located between Reading and Lancaster, this semi rural rustic home is an ideal place to relax and enjoy nature, yet close to many urban attractions. It has easy access to US Highway 222 and interstate 76, and is situated along a biker’s route. It’s near golf courses, Blue Marsh Lake, and Berkshire Mall.
There is room for up to 11 people in the 1500 square-foot first floor of our home. With two bathrooms and two large bedrooms, we love it for our family gatherings. We have extra mattresses to pull into the living room if necessary.
The spacious kitchen and dining room bring the fun into cooking together. Both of the bedrooms directly access a large porch, perfect for enjoying the midnight breezes and listening to the flowing creek.

I had a great stay at this place in PA! It was big, comfortable, and very clean. Whenever I had a question, the owner responded quickly and was easy to reach. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay!
I’ve stayed at many places and this was a large space that was one of the cleanest ever! A+ to the host for that! The host also had nice extras in the refrigerator(that we didn’t use) but it was a very nice thought.
We just needed a place to sleep for the night BUT unfortunately we didn’t get much sleep because of the people upstairs being so loud! Between 11p.m.-3 a.m., which is supposed to be quiet time as described in the rules, we heard, a child SCREAMING(which I understand kids can wake up, etc), stomping of feet, doors slammed, pots and pans clanging around (sounded like dishes being done) and the sound of something falling, like clothes hangers and then being drug across the floor! So there needs to be a sound barrier or something done to improve the ability to get sleep. If this would have been a hotel, I would have definitely called the front desk but since this was not, I wanted to be respectful and not contact the host at 2 a.m.
The space was as described and pictured, easy to find & easy check in & out. IF the noise issue is addressed I would stay here again if in the area.

Hi Rachel, I am very sorry to hear about the noise upstairs. We don’t often have guests with small children. We will definitely make an effort too install some sound barriers so this does not happen to our guests anymore. Thank you for your honest reply. Blessings to you!
