This cabin will sleep 4 people 2 in each bedroom but a 15.00 fee per person over 2 so put in the number of guests coming . The cabin has furnishings for your enjoyment with a complete furnished kitchen with all utensils and cookware. The bathroom is furnished with all linens as well as the bedrooms are. So just pick your dates and come and enjoy your weekend or week with your loved ones or great friends and relax on the porch with a drink while watching the sun set behind the mountains and then build a relaxing fire in the fire pit and roast a hot dog or marshmallow and talk of your enjoyable day of fishing,hiking, sightseeing, or what ever yiou may have chosen to have done that day.

Clean cabin. Really close to a lot of areas of activity (Smoke Hole, Seneca Rocks, tons of hiking, swimming, etc.). Great place to come home to at night.

The cabin was not only GORGEOUS but also incredibly comfortable! It had everything we could want from a grill to outdoor games to a beautiful fire pit area; and the view is unbeatable! We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing stay

I really enjoyed my stay at this cabin. The property is very well taken care of and the cabin is super cozy and cute. It is VERY clean and had everything we were looking for! The owners were very kind and accommodating, and made the rental process very easy. This was the perfect location to escape DC and spend some time outdoors climbing and hiking.

This is a very cozy charming cabin and we wished we could have stayed longer!

Potomac Overlook is a great place to stay when visiting the Seneca Rocks area. It has a wonderful view and has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. We also had some amazing autumn weather, warm and sunny. The owners were a pleasure to meet and were very hospitable. We hope to be able to return again for a longer stay!

Perfect Cabin

We had so much fun on our trip, and this cabin was a fantastic place to stay. The cabin was super clean and had everything we could possibly need. The view from the porch is spectacular. We spent so much time in the mornings and evenings just rocking and soaking up the serene beauty. There is so much to do in the area, and the cabin is centrql to almost all of the sites.

Relaxation at its best

We absolutely loved the cabin. We were looking to slow down and relax and that’s just what we were able to do in the cabin that set the stage. We loved all the thoughtful touches that felt so homey. It also might have been the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. We will be back!

Patomic overlook cabin

Patomic Overlook cabin was perfect for our 3 day stay while visiting friends in the area. It was very clean, kitchen well stocked for making a meal and the porch was great for having coffee while watching the sun come over the mountain. The bathroom is small but very functional with a nice shower, plenty of hooks and cozy towels. The bear theme was fun. We look forward to staying there again.

Great Getaway

The cabin is clean, well decorated, and cozy. I would stay here again. Would have been five stars, but the cabin is located next to a main route (220). I would recommend gates on the deck. And perhaps some sort of addition to the ornamental fence to keep pets in the yard.

Cozy Cabin and comfortable stay

We only stayed one night as we were passing through but the cabin was really cozy and comfortable. Both bedrooms were very cozy with comfortable beds. Incredibly peaceful there in the morning and the large living room windows offer beautiful view of the countryside. The deck is well furnished and perfect place to enjoy my coffee and take in the view. They also have a really fire pit area. The property manager was very attentive and got back to us immediately with any questions we had. We had a very nice stay.

Perfect getaway!

We had the best time at this cabin! It was clean, the owner was sweet, personable and welcomed us the first day. We never left the cabin (except to make a snowman - it snowed on the first day of spring! That gave this place the full effect of being in a cabin with the fireplace - so cozy! We didn't want to leave) Plus weather was nice enough before it snowed to sit at the fire pit a couple nights. This was the perfect cabin for a perfect week. :)

Lovely cabin, warm cozy, perfect for 4 adults.

Potomac Overlook cabin is a cozy, little cabin that is perfect for a quiet get away. We were there with our best friends (there where 2 couples in all) for 2 nights and it was AWESOME. The cabin is decorated in a "black bear" theme and has everything you could want for a lovely stay. Kitchen has plenty of pots, dishes and silverware. Bathroom has a full size washer and dryer. Living room has comfortable seating for 4 and a nice new flat screen tv. We are will definitely return in warm weather to take advantage of the large porch with a gorgeous view. Definitely recommend.

LOVED IT

The cabin is just delightful! Decorated with cute black bears throughout, every inch of this cabin was thoughtfully and carefully planned. Our favorite spot was the front porch overlooking the Potomac and the gorgeous mountains! We loved to sit outside at night and watch the lightening bugs put on a show. It was almost magical. The campfire was well stocked with plenty of wood and we spent every evening roasting marshmallows and enjoying the view. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Potomac region. The owners, Rhona and Hap are so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back! Thanks again!!!

Relaxing Getaway

The cabin was spotlessly clean having a warm inviting feeling of home the moment we walked in. After a quick look around we knew that the accommodations were well equipped for our stay. We settled in quickly using the gas grill for dinner the first night. Soon after dinner Rhona stopped by to see if things were OK and if there was anything we needed or if we had any questions. She was very personable and after 5 minutes you get the feeling you are speaking with a neighbor you had know for many years. The kitchen had everything you could need to prepare any meal you choose, living room had comfortable seating with flat screen TV, WIFI throughout the home and porch. The view of the hill and trees from the porch seemed to have a calming effect and we enjoyed relaxing out there a lot. With a washer, dryer, and linens provided we were able to travel light. We will most certainly return to the cabin, again and again, picking one or two things to do every time we are there.

We live close to the Potomac Overlook,My husband always wanted to build a small log cabin.Since being retired for a few years we purchased the small piece of land and have built this cabin to rent to people to enjoy and explore the beauty of our surrounding area like Smoke Hole canyon Seneca Rocks Dolly sods and Spruce Knob and lots of other interesting things to do like fishing, hunting, hiking to mention a few. We also have the HIdeaway Rental House which is located across the road from the cabin up in the woods that we rent also for the last 5 years.
