The house was very clean, cozy, and private. I was in need of some quiet alone time and that is exactly what this place provided. I can't wait to come back!

The home was very hot when we got there and with my wife's asthma we had to turn on the AC and leave to let the house cool down. The beds were rock hard and there where missing or broken shades in two of the three bedrooms. The kitchen was okay but the cabinets had no handles, the drawer next to the dishwasher wouldn't open fully without hitting the dishwasher. The light over the kitchen table had no switch the plug was lying on the floor. We like to play games and when we opened the Yahtzee box there were no dice. The couch looked so old that we didn't to sit on it. There is no TV unless you bring an Amazon stick or the like, I thought there might be a DVD player and some DVD's to watch but there wasn't. Overall we both slept so poorly that we decided to leave the next morning for home so we cleaned up after ourselves and went home.

Sweet house, plenty of room, great screened in porch

Very clean, surprisingly spacious, great screened porch for evenings. Quiet location that felt private. Just a great base to explore the island from.

Enjoyable Home

This is a nicely maintained property in a quiet rural setting. Myself, wife, daughter and her 3 children stayed for 3 nights. Good size kitchen and dining area with patio doors to a screened in porch provided plenty of eating area. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great island and great memories

I loved staying here. It was a beautiful house and great location. The yard was beautiful with both great back deck and awesome screened in porch. I can't wait to come back.

Nice, clean place with big yard, porch and deck

We enjoyed our stay here in this island home. We really liked the enclosed porch for eating meals. It is close to the main attractions of Washington Island. Overall, easy to recommend, if you are looking for a quite place to relax on the island.

A great stay!

We had such a great time here! The house is well-equipped for everything our family needed, from our three year old to their grandparents. The check in and check out process was easy. The property is so peaceful and we felt right at home. We would abolautelt stay here again!
