Relaxing property with great proximity to all the best Estes Park has to offer. My family lived being able to walk to the adventure park and brewery for lunch and the hot tub at night.
Rivers Edge was just what we had hoped it would be - perfect location, cozy and relaxing. The outdoor wildlife (ducks, geese and elk) was an added bonus. If you want to be able to completely unwind, this is the place to be! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Thank you for the positive review! Hope to see you again.
We absolutely loved our stay here!!! 4 night stay, house was clean and very comfortable. Close to town, but we still felt secluded. It was quiet and safe, I was traveling as a single momma with 3 teens. I loved coffee on the porch every morning watching the ducks swim in the pond across from the house. The sound of the river was amazing. We will def. return to this house!!!
Our family of 4 loved everything about this house! We continually commented that you cannot beat this location, close enough to everything but not surrounded by crowds. We could listen to the river all day and night. House was clean, setup was perfect. Would’ve loved a washer and dryer but everything else was 10/10!
Gorgeous cabin, updated interior. The river was right off the deck with beautiful views. My family enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again. Location was perfect, close to downtown and RMNP but still quiet.
We loved staying at this quaint little cabin. The location was just right as far as getting to and from different areas to hike as well as getting into town. It is peaceful, clean, and well equipped.
Needs a washer and dryer!!!Fan in living room didn't work with remote.Needs additional drawers or dressers for storage. Every thing else was great!Enjoyed seeing all the elk and sitting by river.

Thank you for the review and suggestions. Hope you come back again.
This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Great location for proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. Loved having the river right behind us, so beautiful! We would definitely stay there again.
The place was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was close to town and the sound of the rushing river outside was quite peaceful. We had a wonderful time.
Overall a great place. Great location, with a beautiful view and wildlife right at our steps. Worked perfectly for our family of four. Only recommendation would be to have the front room ceiling fan working, could get a little warm in the afternoon. Overall wonderful.
Beautiful location right on the river.
Plenty of stocked amenities in the kitchens and bathrooms.
2nd bedroom great for kids.
TV and internet work very well with latest features/apps/games.
Only problem was no control for living room fan and the main bathroom fan is really loud and needs repair.
Nice, recently renovated property with very tranquil and relaxing feel. My wife and I enjoyed long days hiking in the park, followed by a quick soak in the hot tub for our sore muscles and a nice glass of wine on the deck over the river.
The property was very clean, had a well equipped kitchen, and excellent location. Owners were prompt to respond to all questions and everything went very smoothly. Highly recommend!
We had a really enjoyable stay. The place was perfect for my wife and I. We really enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub. Very cozy. We did have a little trouble with the microwave, which didn’t seem to work. And the TV had trouble streaming sometimes due to spotty wi-fi. Those were minor inconveniences though, and we would definitely stay here again.
We absolutely were blown away with the scenery, the wildlife, the amenities here at this location. Just a walking distance to a kids area/teens with Fun City, shopping, restaurants, nature, and coffee shops of course to tie in all of the open air. Just 15 mins to the front entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Can’t say enough with the cleanliness, the comfort… would recommend 10 out of 5 stars!
**one downside but there are places in town is that there is not a washer and dryer. Any way to add? Even outside somewhere? Would LOVE IT MORE!!!!!
Thank you!!

The cabin was very clean. It was close to the Beaver Meadows Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It was also nice being close to town too. The views were great. The only issue I had was the check-in process. You are renting from a rental company not a homeowner. After booking I messaged the host in regards to a contract, when check-in info would be sent and what you need to do upon check-out. The reply I received was "you booked through vrbo so no contract. Check-in info would be emailed at noon on day of check-in." No problem since that is the normal practice. Although, on day of check-in at 12:30 pm I still had not received check-in information. I messaged Jesse via vrbo letting her know I hadn't received it. About 1pm I received a phone call from a very nice lady from the rental company saying Jesse was out of the office for the day and she would expedite the info but it might take a bit since I rented through vrbo. It only took a max of 10-15 minutes for the check-in info to be sent via vrbo message. I was also informed that I had replied STOP to text messages so one couldn't be sent yet I received one at 3:58 pm. The lady in the office checked back to see if I received the info. Sometimes there are hiccups and mistakes happen everyone is human. Check-out couldn't have been any easier! If I'm in the area again would I stay here, Yes. It's a beautiful cabin in a great location.
My husband and I came to Estes Park for a couple days after a family wedding close by to relax and spend time in the mountains. This place did not disappoint!!! I enjoyed my morning coffee every morning on the deck with the sound of the river, spent a day in RMNP hiking to Loch Vale, and on our last full day we enjoyed a whiskey tasting at the Stanley Hotel at The Vault and then a few more up in the whiskey bar. One night after dinner we came back to about 15 elk in the neighbor's yard and on our last morning watched a beautiful elk walk along the river. We took full advantage of the hot tub after hitting 28,000 steps one day. The home has no AC, however after just being back for 10-15 minutes and opening the windows the house cools off very quickly. It was great having 2 full bathrooms, however because of the water pressure we were not able to run 2 showers at the same time, no big deal but worth noting if you have more than 2 people in your party. The main bedroom's king-sized bed was very comfortable and the ceiling fan keeps the room very comfortable. The couch in the living room was perfect for a lazy evening in, however softer lighting would be preferred, the one lamp is a little harsh. All in all, we had a wonderful stay, the hosts were very responsive to messages and the check-out instructions are the easiest and quickest ones we have ever had at a VRBO. We would 100% definitely book this house again.

Family Vacation
The cabin is modern-ish and the perfect size for our family of 3. We truly did love our stay but the experience wasn’t perfect. I’ve never encountered such horrible communication with a host. Unanswered questions and panic to get our check-in information down to wire. It made checking in quite stressful. There was no apology for that ordeal and our questions still never responded to. It definitely felt like a cash transaction & as customers we didn’t feel valued. The cabin does need some repairs. It was a shock to come around the corner to the front door and have a pane of glass (I’m assuming) broken and taped up. Didn’t feel safe and it leaked cold air. Also, I read on other reviews about the living room ceiling fan. It is still loud and scary sounding on lowest setting so we never used it- it does need repair. It would've been beneficial to have the air flow from the ceiling fan. There were other minor issues but overall we really enjoyed the location, the hot tub and the deck with roaring waters. Perfect distance from the National Park and just far enough away from downtown Estes to feel remote. We had elk in the yard one morning and seen them in other yards throughout our stay. We originally booked for 3 days and ended up staying an extra night. Overall, we had a wonderful trip but that attributed to other experiences we encountered as well.
