Property was lovely with a fantastic view. Secluded, yet accessible to everything needed. Host was quick and easy to communicate with - even willing to help mail back to us an article of clothing left behind.
We couldn't have been happier with this cabin. It was just as described in the listing. The views of the mountains and the valley are breathtaking. The hot tub was amazing, everything was super clean and well-appointed. We greatly appreciated the pet policy, and we look forward to coming back again!!
Hostess Kimberly is very responsive! The location is perfect for hiking many trails in the Chatahoochee forest and closely located to Hiawassee, Helen, Clayton and Blairsville. The home has 3 levels with privacy for 3 couples or large family group. Well appointed kitchen and a view to die for! The driveway is steep, but manageable and after a couple of trips, we got used to it. We would highly recommend this home! We spent a week and could easily have stayed longer!!
What a beautiful stay! My bestie and i loved the views from this cozy cabin. So conveniently located to spectacular hikes and the remarkable fall leaves!

Beautiful cabin with amazing views. Cabin has a great vibe that coexists with the natural beauty of the area. The host was great with communication and the process was easy.
Beautiful cabin and area. We loved our stay and especially all the little touches included. They had a highchair for our little girl and a pack and play which was amazing. The cabin was clean and as advertised. The view is absolutely amazing we enjoyed having coffee on the porch. I'd definitely stay again!

Thank you so much for the nice review! We hope to host you again in the future. :)
We had such a wonderful stay at this property. It had all the amenities we could think of and everything was in immaculate condition. The driveway is steep but we would laugh each time like we were going on a roller coaster. The owner is incredibly responsive and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who plans to visit the Hiawassee area.

Thank you so much for staying with us! We hope to host you again soon. Take care!
Excellent property. Well stocked. Only negative was the very really steep driveway. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. But this is a personal choice. Partner thought they were very firm. Otherwise absolutely no negative remarks.

Thank you so much for staying with us. I'm sorry the steep driveway was a negative. It is stated clearly in our listing that the house is at the top of a mountain and there are very steep roads to get to it. And I messaged you about this before your stay in case you wanted to cancel. I also apologize the mattresses were too firm for your liking. As you said, it's a personal preference.
Our family just spent a wonderful, relaxing week at 5705 Valley View Ln, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The views are absolutely stunning—truly even better than the photos on VRBO suggest. Every morning, I would sit with coffee and watch the mountains change colors with the sunrise, listening to the wild life. It was a very peaceful setting that relaxed me.The house itself is thoughtfully set up, comfortable, and well-equipped for a family getaway. Getting there does involve 3.5 short but steep hills—which we actually found part of the adventure. In fact, we arrived at 4:30 a.m. (long story!) with a U-Haul trailer and still navigated them without any problem. The roads are paved and well-maintained. Hiawassee was terrific, too! This was one of those rare stays where the experience exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for peace, comfort, and truly breathtaking views, this is the place.
I loved this property so much. The owners are very nice and welcoming. The communicated in a timely manner. They don't overcharge on cleaning fees as most do. They allow you to bring your pets without an additional "pet cleaning" fee. They leave envelopes for you to leave a tip for extra cleaning of your pets hair, etc if you choose to do so. I didnt have pets, but I thought that was very nice. The home is very nice, clean and warm. They provided me with everything I needed. They even had salt and pepper! Coffee, sugar and creamer! I look forward to staying here again!

This mountain retreat is exactly what I needed! The cabin is well-appointed with comfy, clean and aesthetic furnishings, a hot tub and plenty of spaces to enjoy inside and out.
The kitchen has everything you need to stay in for meals (or you can grill out), but Hiawassee proper is just a short drive away where I found plenty of cute restaurants.
This cabin is perfect for that vacation where you want to feel a bit removed from the world, but not completely isolated. It was a great place to work, as well, with high-speed wifi. The views are spectacular and I loved watching the sunset over the mountains each day from the deck.
The hosts were so nice and answered all of my questions. (The listing noted that the driveway is steep. It is, not going to lie and the hosts were very forthcoming about it – it’s a mountain house. But I also made it up and down in my 4-cylinder hybrid without any trouble.)
I can’t wait for my next chance to get out of the city and would definitely book Tom Sawyer’s again!

We had a wonderful stay! The views were absolutely amazing and were the highlight of the property. We know some guests have mentioned the steep driveway but that’s simply the trade-off for staying in a mountain home with breathtaking views. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was easy, the owners communicated well throughout the process and everything was just as described. We would definitely stay here again. Did not want to leave!
