Loved this private wooded area with plenty of space for family to hang out. We also enjoyed the large kitchen area. The host was very responsive. Would book again.

This house worked for what we needed - a place close to Duvall - so that we could visit with family. It may be okay for some people but we found the sleeping options strange, the kitchen missing some simple expected items and a fair amount of junk around the property. The landscaping is in need of more attention and it seemed like quick work was made for getting it ready leaving behind yard debris and grass clippings. Maybe it’s still a work in progress but this is not we expected for the price. There are a number of cameras (we think) on the property so it did not feel private. The house itself was clean and the host was very communicative.

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing to stay at our home while visiting family in the Duvall area. We’re glad to hear that you found the house clean and appreciated our communication throughout your stay. As a privately owned home on a wooded acreage property, our goal is to provide guests with a comfortable and peaceful retreat close to nature rather than a hotel-style experience. We understand that preferences regarding sleeping arrangements, amenities, and outdoor spaces can vary from guest to guest, and we appreciate your comments as we continually work to improve the guest experience. Regarding the exterior cameras, they are disclosed in our listing and are located outside the home solely for property security and guest safety. There are no cameras inside the house or in any private guest areas. We value all guest feedback and will review your suggestions regarding the kitchen inventory and outdoor presentation. Thank you again for staying with us, and we wish you and your family all the best.

Great for a short getaway

The house an amenities were great! The only issue we has was figuring out the cooling method, which wasn't immediately intuitive... but not hard. Would definitely stay again given the chance!

Amenities were in good condition. One window in the master was uncovered and probably could have used a better outdoor entry mat as it was difficult to keep all the tree debris off our shoes as we entered. We kept our shoes off as requested, but still had to vacuum the entry several times to keep it clean. Appliances were in good condition and modern. Was a bit of a learning curve with the induction range, but it worked well. Wish I realized the ice maker produced nice large spheres earlier in our stay, They would have been great in a bourbon.

The house met our needs in terms of space and access to an event we attended. The initial checkin went fine. When we returned late at night, our code no longer worked. We contacted our host and she did get back to us. It took about 20 minutes to get the issue resolved. We decided not to lock the door after that. We had two primary concerns, both of which we shared with the host. First, there were two cars parked on the property. We assumed they were the owners. However, one of the cars kept coming and going. Since it is advertised as a private and serene setting, and that all guests had to be registered, we contacted the host. She told us it was her handyman who was staying in the DDU on the property. As three women traveling by ourselves, we would not have rented had we known this. Second, although the water was clear in the kitchen taps, when one of us filled the bathtub, the water that was in the tub was a gray-green color. We let the owner know this and she said they needed to change a filter. However, as the rest of the water in the house was clear, it likely points to water sitting too long in pipes and may indicate corrosion. The house is on a community well and we did ask for copies of water testing which we haven’t received yet.
